What an utter load of ****. Last year on the River Plate game I needed a void but betfair chose to pay. Now the exact same sort of thing happens when I had a decent win lined up and they decide to void.
Consistency is all we want. Might have something to do with the fact River were heavy favs last year and were not winning while Velez were favs this time and WERE winning. It's really no worse than theft. This is a self-serving decision which Betfair have made so as to avoid a large liability. Disgraceful. |

I also bet on the River Plate game but this game was clearly terminated early by the referee. From a records point the result of both games will stand but there was a lot more time left in this game. It also confirms that you should not cover your bets in different markets, especially where there is a possibility that they will/could be settled or voided. I had the majority of my bets in the correct score market and that was voided as the rules.It would be better if the rules were ammended to payout on results that could not happen. Payout on 0-0,1-0.0-1 and 1-1.I have been involved in over 10 games when the results have been settled differently by Betfair and Bookmakers.
