Have to agree, CL is a step to far for this team. Spuds basically gave them the ball for 90 minutes. They will be playing without the ball for 180 minutes against Barca.
What does Roberto have in store to counter that? |

Oh btw highlander, what makes you think UEFA doesn't consider Barca the bigger team? If it comes down to 0-0's, you'd better expect that Barca will get the decisions they need to move on

Of course UEFA think Barca are the bigger side, it's not even open to debate. Barca will get all the decisions as usual, but even that might not be enough to stop the Chelsea juggernaut.

Can't deny that this is a Chelsea revival, but Barca will literally run rings around them.
It will come to down to corners and Drogba. Torres in his prime might have made a huge difference. Problem with this Chelsea side is that I don't see any ball-winners (Mikel and Ramires don't fall into that category). They won't be able to take the ball from Barca. |

Hold on though if Barca are so superior why didn't they thrash Chelsea when they played them a few years ago? They should have been knocked out that day, everyone knows it, they were completely outplayed over the 2 legs.

Chelsea didn't play in the first leg. They just sat back the whole game.
At home, they didn't look like scoring from open play. They did have genuine penalty claims, but those big decisions will never go to them. |
