Cant we just do a thread if Chelsea win?

Are you confident sj?
I know you playing against your friends from White heart lane! |
By:
from a liverpool pov, chelsea is my preference
had lot more joy against them this season than v spurs |

Flip a coin -- it's a battle of who can be the least sh1t on the day.
"Aggro after the game" YES - 1.1 NO - 12 |
By:
i reckon chelsea could be faves by kickoff i managed to lay spurs at 2.64 now out to 2.76

By:
No I'm not confident. Feel ill
By:
I remember we played them in 2001 in the semis.
The most one sided semi final of all time surely. We somehow went one down ( sol cambpell if I remember rightly ) then proceeded to batter them. We should have won 6-1 but only won 2-1. I was a mess for that game. The sense of relief when that final whistle was almost orgasmic. |
By:
Then we battered Liverpool in the final but lost 2-1

Some load of crap playing it 3 days before the Barca game.
By:
I want to get on the dza's aggro market, massive underround.
By:
Mr E, 21 years since i've gone into a semi feeling less confident.
chelsea ain't pulling up any trees but at least you know you'll get some of sort of reasonable performance from them. us ? who knows. having lost the last 5 including that unloseable game against pompey 2 years ago i'll never expect to win again until we do. |

Those were the days |

Yeah, Gary Doherty and all the talk of Spurs for the FA Cup Cup because the year ended in "1". Crap Spurs team though.
![]() |
By:
Anyway, Spurs will win this 2-1. Van der Vaart and Modric to score.

By:
Wasn't that the semi-final where Levy/Enic/Buchler sacked Graham on a technicality, bringing Hoddle in? He was in charge for a few days and we had quite a few injuries iirc, playing against a very formidable Arsenal side. Not a good place to be.
By:
Yep - if i remember rightly Sol Campbell started the match with a twisted ankle and didn't last long.
We were an appalling side back then. Should win comfortably today - 2-0 or 3-1 with Bale and Walker ripping Chelsea to shreds. |
By:
Chelsea are poor at best.
By:
It's a tough one to call. The Chelsea players will surely have their mind on the Barca game. Spuds are out of form and might have their mind on a CL spot. It's a no bet for me. Whoever is the least rubbish on the day will win.
By:
a bit like yesterday's semi then.
By:
Chelsea have drifted out to 9/5. Must be news of a weak Chelsea starting line-up. I think there worth a back in any cas. They are relatively proficient at grinding out these must win cup games, can always trade them out if they go 1-0 one up (similar situation to Everton yesterday).I'm hoping they go 1-0 down then I can get them at 8/1

By:
Spurs are going to be weak at centre-half -- I wouldn't rule out a trademark implosion.

Chelsea to win 2-1 for me with Torres banging in the winner.

Chelsea have a massive match next week against Barcelona so will the thought of that match affect them?
Also they are not at stamford bridge today where the ref is always their twelfth man sucking up them. So with that in mind tottenham to win easily ![]() |
By:
Chelsea will care much more about this match imo -- they can beat Spurs, but they have only a tiny chance of beating Barcelona.
By:
Chelsea now favourites. Team news?
By:
my lay of tottenham is currently looking good layed at 2.64 now 2.76. i am going to stick my neck out and say that chelsea could even be favourites by kickoff so i am not selling it yet..
i knew ![]() |

By:
spurs 2.9 now unreal for me

Like others have said, it's a hard one to call. Spurs out of form, but need to pick up their league form to get a CL spot.
Chelsea in decent form, but have a massive game midweek that they simply have to win to stand any chance of getting to the CL Final. A tight, cagey affair, so the HT Draw is worth a little nibble @ 2.2. |
