He should be sent off weather Perch dived or not, you can't stick your head in a player like that.

Did anyone else notice Atkinson calling over Perch as "perchy".

Bit familiar isnt it?

barton - gervinhio

I get the feeling he didn't give Perch a second yellow as the game was in injury time (not that it should matter)

Yep saw this straight away not once but defo twice or thrice did the **** of a ref say "Perchy"!!!

and as for the blatant tug back on Suarez when NOBODY on the left to cover him and NO Yellow, not even a talking to....shows how much of thick prick the idiot is!

Perch' legs turned to jelly because he thought Pepe was about to smash the living chit out of him, Cabaye also a nasty piece of work, alongside his numerous x-rated tackles he now wants to feign injuries and point fingers and talk to refs, nice bloke.

Read my post squigs.

I said any player be that AC or Luis Suarez.

Time to sort this problem once and for all as it's ruining the game.

so nobody noticed suarez feigning injury to his face when jonas showed him a clean pair of heels, but when he lost the ball and it ran in suarez direction he made a dramatic recovery Laugh.rose tinted specs. reina got exactly what he deserved. its a red card offence.

Funny how the Liverpool fans suddenly become critical of players going to ground too easily.

When Suarez is guilty, I have seen several of those same posters telling us that if there's contact then it's justified.
By:

I think he would have, and was well aware that perch exaggerated the level of contact. That's not a view on weather or not I think he should have been sent off or not,.

Errm Suarez did not feign an injury ...he was actually got in the face accidentally be Jonas(who is a good and honest player). Thats it.

and if Suarez was Perch ....you can bet 1.01 that would NEVER have been a RED Card for the Krul.

not basing my argument on anything the 2 incidents above are independant.

More like you using my comments to base on your bias.

Yes we all Suarez over exaggerates and 9/10 of he is actually caught\fouled!

Today Perch(an English player who the media trait to be clean and not like the foreign players) was embarrassing.

I will need to see a slow-mo but even if there was minimal contact he went down like he had been caught by Mike Tyson..both hands over his face and screaming and then up again in  10 seconds(i think). at worst he may have had a small pain on his nose.

Exactly.  Yes Perch dived like a big girl, yes it was pathetic and yes he probably got Reina sent off.  However, Suarez does exactly the same thing in the same match (when allegedly caught with a swinging arm that almost removed his head) and Liverpool fans are shaking with rage that Gutierrez wasn't done for it.  Make your minds up.

As for the OP, would hav been a yellow apiece and on with the game.  It's a real shame that diving and pretending to be hurt is what's talked about after what was quite a good match, but I guess that's the Premier League for you.

mtoto ...thats was against Sheff Utd 1st game of the season and the ref gave it based on intent

and a few refs later said it was a pen despite Gerrard having to avoid\jump of the sliding leg.

Newcastle are nice club and most peoples 2nd\3rd fav.

The fact is that today Perch has elevated himself to Drogba school of acting.
as for Cabaye he should be ashamed of himself ..trying to use the current Suarez media bashing against him bty first of all bumping him off the ball for no reason then falling to floor and pointing when there was no challenge.(whether he touched I cannot confirm until a replay) but I heard there was nothing to it all.

I want to call bullshit on this comment, I have not seen anyone even mention this incident, looked like Suarez got a rake to the eye, accidental obviously but you want to talk about it because its Suarez I would imagine.

krul may not have gone as there were 2 newcastle players back behind krul i think, plus the ref would factor in it was andy caroll and therefore not a golascoring opportunity.

Tendy mentioned it above, cob (admittedly not claiming Jonas should have been booked or owt).  But okay, if you believe that Suarez didn't go down like a sack of shít, writhing on the floor, only to spring to his feet once Liverpool recovered possession then I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

WITH THEIR ANTICS THIS SEASON I FIND IT INCREDIBLE THAT LIVERPOOL FANS ARE TRYING TO TAKE THE MORAL HIGH GROUND Laugh

swings and roundabouts, we were due a lucky break. had more pelanties against us than any team this season. sky showed linesman and referee in no position to rule on handball. it is though.

LINESMAN was in a clear position for the 2nd Offside goal but he must be a mind reader if knows when the ball was meant to be going.

If he is not intefering then he should not be on the pitch as somebody once said.

Anyway I think today was a good game for AC to get of his chest and overall his performance was good. He could have easily buckled under the fans abuse but he actually gave an allround performance and looked hungry. Now if he can imagine he is playing them every week!

soundly beaten and rather than admit that you'd rather focus on defending the behaviour of reina, who should have thrown the ball to start a counter attack but chose to physically assualt someone instead.

deary me....ermmm what the hell do you think he was trying to do before being cynically caught???!!

I hope your opinion of Zidane was that he should waited until after the final whistle(win or lose) and then gone back for Materazzi??!!
If not then hmmmmm.
