why?
looks to me that they are now representing real value in many markets because theres money for shalke

7/1 HT-FT value for a team who whose principle tactic from minute 1 is have posession pressurise and to score and then to repeat same

only neg i can see about bilbao is recent league form which is normal and meaningless.. copa del rey final and europa league are only priorities this yr

also llorente and herrera carrying slight injuries for last 2 weeks but both sure to start

for me lay shalke at odds on
back athletic HT-FT @ 7.8/8
back athletic to win 2-0 at 30

gl and aupa athletic!

Although Bilbao have been good in the europa, Schalke are excellent. Huntelaar is on fire this season, sometihng like 35 goals??.. He has 13 goals in 10 Europa league games.

Home win for me.

imo athletic are overpriced as bigger betting public is german?

.. the spanish league is clearly way ahead of the german one and shalke would prob lurk around mid/bottom half of la liga table in spain this year

athletic are playing particularly well with Bielsa and have a young (average age 23) ambitious confident team with several internationals (llorente, javi martinez, munain, iraola, amorabieta (venezuela)..

shalke can boast raul whose best days are gone and huntelar whos the big danger

llorente has had some problems since the united game and was substituted after scoring in bilbao with some mussel problems.. he missed a few games but played las 2 and though possibly not 100% will start tonight and i wouldnt expect it to be a serious factor

They'll probably rest players as the weekend away to Barca and I expect a full team tonight.  They've struggled in the league recently but they'll be right up for this and I think they're a decent bet.  BTTS also looks good.

troytown,
i can assure you the game in barcelona 48 hrs after this is of absolutley zero interest to bilbao who are already in the europa league next yr thks to cup final vs barca

similarly the derby clash in pamplona after the man utd game given little importance

what a surprise huntelaar he was useless in spain and italy good to see him back in form am i the only one who is surprised by dutch players in germany baring in mind hollands history i suppose time and money is a great healer

Iraizoz; Iraola, Javi Martínez, Amorebieta, Aurtenetxe; Iturraspe, Herrera, De Marcos; Susaeta, Muniain y Llorente.

yellow cards in Sporting v Metalist a good bet, refs fond of them and Metalist away card tally is pretty high as are the amounts in Sporting games in Europe

Huntelaar to score at (currently) 2.1 seems a safer bet.

Do we trust the bilbao performance against united ?? the market and their league performance suggests not, i think it's best to watch the first 10 minutes or so to see how it sets out,if bilbao are going to be able to play the game the way they did against united we will get a feel for it soon enough and will be able to jump one way or the other after seeing the first few minutes.

Hoping to enjoy the game, so small bet on 2-2 at 18.

Not too worried about Bilbao's league form.  Superb on their day but can't sustain it.  They'll be right up for this though and I fancy them to win.
