Also backed the draw at 3.85, so 1-1 or 1-2 will do nicely. 2-1 = little/no profit.

loadedgimp: While that's technically true, the little value you get for that (city score, then chelsea overhaul a deficit to win from behind) is so unlikely (about 1 in 40) it's nothing compared to the money you lose by greening after the goal.

Greening is only ever worth it if you red out, or otherwise always try to make value bets. Otherwise it's giving away money for 'peace of mind' which is just a waste and loses to winnings not covering losses.

your saying that as if the result has already been determined. and that's a pretty broad generalization of saying that each game/match/contest is going to finish the same way with no variables to consider

razz: most greening is done without much consideration of current odds or watching the game, it's done to get a green screen for nothing but the sake of being green.

If you think that city will score after chelsea, then back the chelsea next goal, then take your profit, then back city next goal! Far far far more profit than backing chelsea then greening out.

HOPEFULLY NOT ANYWAY CAN'T HAVE MONEY WINNING IT

ror if you want to win you will have to learn to treat every football match as an individual event. What happens in other games has nothing to do with this one match, until you learn that you will continue to lose.

What have United done the past 10 years though Geeyredosh? Buying Rooney, Ferdinand, Veron etc for huge prices. City have merely caught up in a short space of time.

True tucker, although I've constructed a bot that is actually more likely to bet the worse the value is, (it's more likely to back short odds than long odds!), yet the bot keeps winning (assuming stuff finishes as it stands, it's got back city, lay qpr and lay everton right and only back spurs wrong).

NO CITY HAVE TAKEN SPENDING OFF THE SCALE

YOU CAN POINT AT MAN UTD SPENDING THE BIG MONEY ON A FEW PLAYERS BUT CITY HAVE DONE IT WITH A WHOLE SQUAD

ITS JUST TOO MUCH

most greening? I wouldn't say that, sure a lot does, and you said it's only EVER worth it if you red out, while that's simply not true. I am not talking about this game specifically like you were trying to imply, I haven't even placed a bet on it.
you seem to be saying that greening out is never worth it regardless of the circumstances, surely I have misinterpreted your words?

its like liverpool 2 up and 1.02 to lay but you shouldn't green for the sake of it.  or chelsea at 5/1 then they score but you shouldn't green for the sake of it.
