How can you expect players to be in any frame of mind to play football when the see one of their colleagues fighting for his life.
It was the compassionate and right decision to abandon this game. I'm hoping against hope that the kid is ok, but I really fear the worst - I'm a hard man (joke) but this has me feeling a little emotional. |

Im not one for going over the top with mourning either...I did not know the guy, his death cannot mean much to me... but still, I would like to make something good of this. I only had a £20 bet on this game, it is not much of a sacrifice, but I will donate it to a charity. One which saves lives, either here in the UK or abroad. Thats all. |
