Rangers seem very big at 13/8 even given their current problems. New owners being lined up and still the same squad as 1 month ago overall.
Utd not a bad side but leak silly goals

We have a good recent record at Tannadice.
I would be surprised if we took the 3 points today.
Our current circumstances are well documented added to that we are also missing a few first team regulars through suspension etc.
That`s not to say we wont be able to field a strong enough side to be competitive its just that I find it difficult to see us winning.
Lay of Rangers is the call at these odds.
Report euanmcc87 March 17, 2012 10:11 AM GMT
Rangers centre back pairing of Goian and Bocenegra are suspended. With injuries to Papac and Whittaker and Wylde having left on a free Rangers only have 3 recognised players who can play in defence (Bartley, Perry and Wallace).
Dundee Utd are on a great run of form!
I would be very careful of this one.
Report hattersfan1 March 17, 2012 11:20 AM GMT
If Rangers* FC (In Administration) don't win today then Celtic could win the SPL by beating them next week at Ibrox. Surely that would be motivation enough for them to get all three points this afternoon?

* Deducted 10 points for non payment of taxes to HMRC. (How much soldiers kit, nurses wages etc would that have helped pay?

unlike celtic we dont abuse kids lol large john knew and said nothing shocking

The culture of Rangers is such that they don’t feel they’ve done anything wrong in cheating the tax authorities and cheating other Scottish clubs.

As far as they are concerned, they are The People.

Ask yourself how many Rangers fans were embarrassed by the sectarian signing policy, the Billy Boys song, the FTP chants, the vile slurs against Jock Stein, the famine song, the Manchester riots, or any of their violent rampages through Europe?

Damn few, because they are The People. Theirs is a supremacist culture that revels in hatred and anger. They don’t “do” introspection. They don’t “do” contrition.

What did Rangers say to its supporters when UEFA and the SFA belatedly asked them to stop the sectarian chants? Did they say “stop this guys, it’s wrong?”. No, they told their fans to stop it because their club would be punished otherwise.

From the illiterate knuckle dragging forum poster (the2archies- nae ar5ehole more like)  slandering the memory of Big Jock, to the shirt-and-tie-wearing ned enjoying his Eggs-Benedict -free corporate hospitality in the Ibrox Suite, to the Armani-clad wideboys drawing up dodgy deals and crooked contracts in the boardroom, they are united in the feeling that they are above rules, ethics, and even the law of the land. Well not not any more; the 'peepul' are in for a long hard lesson about Karma - a voodoo that does worky. (As you might have said '2ar5ses').

interesting posts on this subject. from an outsider looking in i tend to agree that anyone not paying tax like the rest of us is wrong. if that means starting again then in the long run it would be good for football in Scotland (god knows it needs some help). Juve, Fiorentina have manged to get back on track after being punished for being in the wrong i tend to think that as much as it would hurt in the short term it would be good for both rangers and Scottish football if rangers got relegated and started from scratch. should the trophies be removed for the last 12 years? unsure that would make anything better if i am hones. however, if they have won trophies by breaking the rules perhaps like Ben Johnstons gold  they should be removed from the records

Rangers are in terminal decline.

The latest word is that the 3 potential bidders have named a price and so many stipulations they are never going to happen.

Its all over for them.
Report Shrewd_dude March 18, 2012 12:23 AM GMT
'The bidders' talking to the administrators but it's Whyte who owns the fecking club. The bidders can have as many constructive talks with Duff and Phelps as they want but they don't own the club so it doesn't make any difference if the administrators think it's a good proposal or not unless they go in to liquidation.

The problem is Sherrie the powers that be such as the SFA and media will do their hardest to prevent Rangers not being in the SPL because no matter what they have done it's in the interests of Scottish football to maintain the status quo (and when they say Scottish football they mean they mean the media and the other SFA/SPL parasites who do **** all as opposed to the actual fans whose money makes the whole game possible.

And how do you feel about Celtics flaws

IRA  chanting FTQ chanting, Anti poppy banners  , mocking british troops , singing songs about the Ibrox disaster , songs about the late davie cooper ,
sectarian singing , covering up child abuse at board level , not perfect either is it ?
