Got to say I fancy City today with a decent sized wager. Seem like value to me even if their away form is pretty shakey in Europe.

I watched Sporting painfully succumb to Setubal at the weekend. Not sure City are value at 1.85 but Sporting are absolutely awful.

With Toure not playing, I wont be backing City at this price. Sporting struggle to score goals but they don't let many in - I anticipate a tight game.
I think I'll lay City at this price. At the very least it should give me an opportunity to trade. Having said that, however, with the Attacking players that City have they always have the potential to score goals. |

It's one of those matches where at the odds it looks really tempting to go in and the price could well look a bargain. Haven't decided yet, will wait to see what team Mancini puts out first. I suppose whatever team Mancini puts out it will look more than capable of winning but sometimes they just seem to park the bus but with a difference in that they have about 70 percent possession in the middle of the park. Also of concern is that City don't need to win it. I'm fairly sure Mancini would be happy with a good old Italian performance and a draw. Knowing me I'll be convincing myself before kick off that they'll go for it and hope they do

i dont really see the value in backing city here. their away form has been nothing like their home form this season. they actually dont need to win this game, as they will almost certainly win at home. i would imagine that mancini will try to not lose with minimum effort. no point in backing under evens.
i watched a bit of the porto away game and sure city might have the better players but i didn't really see that city deserved to win that particularly, porto aint the same team this season |
