Just found out this is on Sky Sports tonight. Nice one!
By:
Not sure what has happened to crawley recently. Very well placed and then sold their key forwards Barnett and Tubbs? Very odd.
By:
Shrews at home have to have a good chance of 3 points here for me.
By:
yeah crawley have lost their 2 key players. Just hope the Shrews can get the 3 points 2nite. They stand a good chance at home.
By:
difficult game to call, but maybe a lay of crawley's the way to go.
By:

Taken Shrewsbury on a level ball asian. Crawley struggling to cope with the loss of Tubbs / Barnett & new players taking time to adjust. Braga, still thinking on this one, Guimaraes were very strong in defence against Benfica but Braga are hot at home and need points to keep up at the front. hmmmmmm Preview for the Braga game here: http://www.thefootytipster.com/ |

Soft spot for Shrews, no idea why.
Only time I've been was last game of the season, years ago when we (Wigan) were dog sht. Mental day, cops put about 100 of us on one coach back to the train station after we'd holed up in a pub. It had gone off before the game and they didn't want it to after, poor coach firm lost all their windows and the coach went straight to the cop shop. Held us in the rain in a cage outside, then did interviews, turned out we all had to fork out a fiver. Black Mariah's took us to the station and a round hard plastic riot shield slipped out of the overhead and smashed me across the nose. ![]() |

Crawley were over achieving in the first half of the season
and there has been a correction of sorts in the last couple of months, and at the moment they sit one point behind this evenings opponents, but with 2 games in hand. Overall the visitors's form is marginally superior but playing at home is a big advantage, so Shrews should be clear favourite at around 2.35 IMO. 7/4 is apparently available with a couple ofleading books and that seems a big price. 1/1 DNB is also available with another High St book and that is also fair value IMO. |

COME ON YOU BLUESSSSSSS !!!!!!!

By:
got to fancy Shrewsbury for this, Crawley selling their best striker in January really seems to have knocked them back
By:
i soooo hope you shrewsbury backers are all right tonight

By:
I wouldn't say they overachieved Ken, they were pre-season favourites. They had a massive budget, but I think their chairlady has been unimpressed with the gates they have been getting and has tightened the purse strings
By:
Backed Shrewsbury 1-0 and 2-0 think they will edge a tight affair massive game for both sides.
By:
Creepy Crawley have single handedly wiped out most of my inheritance lately, so I hope they get a damn good seeing to tonight!
By:
Burton, I think they were over achieving when you
consider they had 34 pts from their first 15 games followed by 22 points from 14 games since, either they were over achieving then, or are under achieving since, take your pick. I'm not knocking them, I just look at the figures. GL if you are a fan. |
By:
The Crawley fans must be well gutted - at one point looked like they could walk the league, then they get rid of all their team's firepower! Usually the sort of thing a team struggling in midtable would do, not a team that looked like hitting the league above. Fair point I guess if the chairlady was worried about gates, but then why put so much cash into getting their only to give up once they look like doing it?
By:
no I am not a fan, I have hated Evans since he was at Boston and called us a pub team
By:
Kenilworth - why do all your posts end up in really short paragraphs instead of going across the page like everyone elses?
Nothing to do with football, just curious that's all. |
By:
hands up if you thought he said charlady, not chairlady! there was me thinking "why does the tea lady get to call the shots at Crawley?"
By:
Not that I'm complaining for this match - I'm on Shrewsbury with the spreads (who have these two level for this match). I can't see how Shrews are not rated stronger, especially as they also have one of the best home records in the leagues this season. They have some reasonable scorers in the side (managed 7 in one match this season) so I'm hoping Crawley crumble a bit tonight.

I had to double check my spelling abu when I posted, just in case

By:
no mate, you´re all good, its my eyes.

By:
biscuit, not sure myself actually, but I think
I saw a post a long time ago that went just about the same width as this one, and I thought it made it easier (for me) to read, also quite nea tand tidy. |
By:
Shrews like to rack up the corners at home averaging 7 and Crawley avaerage 6 away from home this season, over 10 corners is evens on bet365 if any1 is interested
By:
Interesting you say that Luke, as the mid price on
the spreads is 10.5 which is below average (11.1). When I play on corners I almost always go low as everyone else seems to go high, but on this match I'm leaving it, maybe this match is expected to be played out in midfield. |

Come on you draw. |

Something very fishy going on with Crawley and has been for a few years. Is it a coincidence that Crawley is the english home of the Scientologists? Sold their top strikers just as promotion is beckoning and now they're drifting tonight. Caveat emptor.
