Yeah, but they were able to control Ajax better with Scholes on. Not quite well enough, but still better.

They've got far more cautious recently. Utd will win nothing with that team anyway.

They've often been cautious away from home in Europe, although it's unusual to see them play like that at OT. I think they got caught between scorelines. 1-1 at half-time wasn't a comfortable scoreline. Did they go for it and risk conceding a goal and making it tricky, or did they try and get defensive?? They resorted to the latter, and it just about worked for them. Only just though.. Poor performance.
