I see people betting very often on 1+ goals, the odds usually 1.07-1.11, but the odds on under 4.5 is 1.11 so surely there is the same amount of chance on less than 5 goals being scored? Or am i missing something?
i suppose one of the advantages to doing 1+ goals is that you would get your money back quicker than waiting for the final whistle to go. I assume that as soon as the first goal goes in on a 1+ goals you get your stake and winnings.

personally i'd rather just pick out teams that don't score many goals and preferably don score many in the 1st half and go for under 2.5 for a trade at half time

backing correct scores at what they are at half time is good for a trade too if no goals are scored between 45 to 60 odd mins... for instance i just did the maccabi game, last 5 encounters between them have been 0-0 backed at half time @ 3.9 now trading them off at 1.85.

You'd have been absolutely done up the arse if you did this bet in Portugal yesterday. Porto was 0-0 at HT and 2-3 FT, Rio Ave were 1 down at the break and won 6-1.
I agree in a lot of cases though you'd at least have a chance to trade out, i don't know what stats are for games with over 4.5 though.

Betting on Under 4.5 at the Odds that are normaly on offer makes almost no sense under any Circumstances, whilst betting on Over 4.5 under Specific Conditions with the Odds regularily on offer makes pretty much sense :)
Hope that helps (or not) :)
