Nile played the first 67 minutes of Barnsley's 0-1 defeat at Big Fat Sam's West Ham on Saturday but was unable to break his scoring duck. The Hammers boss was sent to the stands for protesting about unawarded penalties and a reckless challenge on one of his young debutants.

Ranger's barrister Toby Hedworth QC told the court: "His bail involves him not entering the parking meter zone except when expected to play at what was once known as St James' Park, and to some still is."
Even his solicitor is a staunch St James's Park supporter ![]() |

He was fined £6,000 - or £42.85 per character if he managed to use up the full allocation of 140 per tweet.... Next up for the Londoner is a drunk & disorderly case that comes before Newcastle Magistrates on March 21st, before moving to Newcastle Crown Court on June 25th to be tried on four assault charges (two involving police officers) arising from a night out in Newcastle city centre last August. Bail conditions preventing him from visits the city centre in the evening remain in force. ex nufc.com |

Nile Ranger has appeared in court after he was caught breaching bail conditions that ban him from Newcastle city centre.
The 20-year-old was arrested last night after police spotted him outside Aspers Casino, at The Gate. Ranger is currently awaiting trial at the Crown Court on assault charges and his bail conditions ban him from entering the parking meter zone in Newcastle city centre. He appeared before Newcastle Magistrates Court this morning where he admitted the breach. District Judge Stephen Earl released him with the same conditions. A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "At 11.17pm on Monday a 20-year-old man was arrested for breach of bail conditions." |
