Cripes Bedwet, I am flattered that you think my message so comment worthy. I wonder, though, if you are trying just a little too hard to impress a lady. I often get that.
Now run along, there's a good lad. Over2.5 has cocoa and biscuits waiting |

Bet of the day: Barcelona
16/02/2011 RESULT! There was a time when a fool and his money were soon parted but nowadays it happens to everybody, particularly at inner-city cashpoints. Get on Barcelona at 10-11 to beat Arsenal. OH DEAR lets see how this goes derek |

He is very entertainin and a great tipster in the main, especially on some novelty bets. I remember backing Crash to win an Oscar at 12/1 after he tipped it
![]() Pnly biter manc or bluenose seethers don't like him. Keep up the good work Mr Mcgovern. |

16 Feb 11 01:04 well, you know what they say. if you don't know who the mug is... i actually said i wasnt sure who the biggest mug was out of them slagging him off or the man himself for his shyte tips Neither! It's the fools who pay him to write the f'ing column! EMILYBISHOP/CHARWELL even if you're not him, I hope Derek Mcgovern reads this. If you're going call yourself sports betting's top tipster you have to be prepared to take criticism when your bets CONSTANTLY LOSE! But own up, you're only there to advertise bets for bookies not to correctly predict winning bets for readers of the coloumn. If not, then you really are a... ![]() |

I SWEAR ON MY LIFE, OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS I WAS THINKING OF LAYING ARSENAL but I was also thinking more of laying 0-0. I did neither but I did read his column this morning and maybe that put me off?!
Anyway, I forgot to include this in my last post... By Derek Mcgovern 16/02/2011 Get on Barcelona at 10-11 to beat Arsenal. GAME ENDED ARSENAL 2 BARCELONA 1 |

Replies: 9 17 Feb 11 10:12 that's six winners in the last eight bets of the day for the fool. where does he get them from? ------ this thread is about his football bets so how do you work that out? |
|
By:
so if he has a bet of the day and it wins, but it's not a football one, it doesn't count then? What a numbskull you sound.
Maybe we should let bookies know they don't have to pay out on all those winners |
|
By:
....have a look at the thread title, Mr N Skull, there seems to be no mention of football

What's the name of the forum this thread is in emily/derek?

Emily correct...this thread reeks of bias, envy and vitriol.
It appears to go missing when a run of wins is put together and magically reappears with every loss further undermining its limited credibility. Regards Ray |

ROy i've picked through this 'fred and I must say I'm struggling to identify the ENVY of which you speak!
![]() I've noticed in this 'fred and others of similar ilk that little defensive cliques seem surface. Some of the defenders of the tipsters show distinct signs of intelligence, even dare I say it.. education! Some of their posts are witty (if a little defensive) and many appear well written, even on here without the benefit of a good edit.. [;)] |

Lots of seething envy imo....they want my job, i mean his job!!!

it cant be your job if its emilys job
![]() or my job (admittedly it cant be me im miles better but you get my point)and they are right to a point the man does make a moron of himself although id like to see some of these on here give their 'tips' or opinions out on matches/events pre game... maybe start their own threads extolling the virtues of their selections but we all know that wont happen |

give me a two ronnies joke book and 500 quid a time right or wrong, I'll give it a go.

with the mirror gig and the hills gig (does he still do that? i fking hated listening to the biased cnt when i used to manage one :))
id bet he gets more than 500 a time. good luck to him most on here back mug bets and all they do is lose their dole or wages |

Emily correct...this thread reeks of bias, envy and vitriol. It appears to go missing when a run of wins is put together and magically reappears with every loss further undermining its limited credibility. WHAT RUN OF WINS?! HAVE YOU'VE EVEN READ THE WHOLE THREAD R0keane/Derek?? ![]() I have put up all of his football betting predictions for Jan and February 2011. Which either came from his Bet of the Days or bets he stated specifically in his coloumn that he was backing. (And if you read his Daily Mirror coloumn regularly you'll notice Derk doesn't actually give out bets that he's backing, he just ADVERTISES bets that bookies are offering.) If you had read the whole thread you would see I've included his wins and losses but it's not my fault he's had more losses than wins!! January 2011 Football betting predictions = 7 LOSSES 2 WINS February 2011 Football betting predictions = 7 LOSSES 3 WINS By: middles-for-dough although id like to see some of these on here give their 'tips' or opinions out on matches/events pre game... maybe start their own threads extolling the virtues of their selections but we all know that wont happen No, it won't happen with me since I, like a lot of others here, do most of my betting in play. But there are quite a few who give their bets and predictions before games and they probably have a better record than derek/emily/r0ykeane/charwell/whatever the schizo is calling himself on here next[;)]. viva el presidente! give me a two ronnies joke book and 500 quid a time right or wrong, I'll give it a go. ^^Good line! |
