First time I have watched this after quite a lot of friends raving on about it at work. However I had a feeling a lot were just watching it so they could be part of the "clique" and join in with all day work conversations about it and maybe it's a show which is traveling far by word of mouth on hype more than anything else, and so far, the first 30 minutes have not have been great. Still early though yet, hope it improves in the last 30 minutes, have the previous episode/episode been a lot better chaps ?

Hearts I really hope it's as good as it's been made out, but the first 30 minutes tonight have been poor IMO, I seen all the build up to this programme with Gervais adverts etc so hope it is good, I want it to be good, I only presume the previous opening shows have been a lot better.

I made the decision to boycott it, once that unfunny gimp Gervais appeared on the trailer.

I don't care how many millions love it, I'm sticking to my guns and watching the watching paint dry channel instead.

Would be loads better if that chunt Gervais wasn't on it, laughing at his own jokes.

Just whatched the 1st EPISODE in China and that was 10 times better than todays one in India, the India one was very very poor in comparrison. I guess his 7 episode will be hit and miss. Hope more are as funny as the China and non are like todays.

Think there is 13 episodes, which is strange seeing as there is only 7 wonders but we shall see

rude obnoxious miserable ugly another gervais spin off thats complete crap like the films

its a thin joke that works in small doses.  the character is not a prejudice-exposing clown* like those of Baron Cohen, and so it just becomes a repetitive moaning "miserable Brit abroad" with the occasional rapier line from Pilkington.  there will obviously be a few that love it because it confirms their beliefs and think Pilkiington's "spot-on" and maybe that broader ridicule is Gervais' intention.  or maybe they just like filming the old chaps of a few hairy Indians.
