They've had 1 excellent chance and a few half chances. Everything teed up for a 1-1, that said I'm not laying Barca, my hand naturaly reflexes away from the mouse when it sense I'm trying to lay Barca.

They took Ibra off in the same situation against Inter last year as he couldnt make any impact. So he wasnt the answer.

Messi needs to come on he can commit 2 or 3 defenders noone else in their team really does that and if its very difficult to play those precise passes with so many players behind the ball.
Take off either Mascherano or Busquets and bring Messi on. |

that makes no sense. Noone is saying they have the right to win all the time but when a team simply gets 10 men behind the ball its very difficult to break down playing the way they do with short precise passes. If they had more of a target man up front they could maybe be a little more direct by passing all those men behind the ball, the only other option they have is Messi who can commit 2 or 3 defenders because hes such a good dribbler, apart from that their relying on the perfect pass which has happened a couple of times this half but they couldn't take the chances they created. |

They bought a target man type player in Ibra, who could do nothing when Inter sat in against them. As for being difficult to break down - every team in europe and most in La Liga sit in against Barca this way in the last few years. In this time they have gone through the most succesfull time in their history playing the short passing game and by not panicking and resorting to 'direct balls' into the box. |
