I play for a sunday league team in wales and there was an incident last weekend regarding a penalty.
the player but the ball down on the spot and as he was walking back to take it his teammate ran up a scored.
our keeper who isnt the greatest at the best of times just stood there
is this allowed?

no, the penalty taker should be made known to the referee and the goalie by the opposition before the PK is taken
thats what i thought but the ref seemed to think that was just sportsmanship and not in the actual laws of the game
i played in a game once where a player was fouled in the are and the ref blew his whistle for a penalty and after the whistle one of the players just smacked it in the net and the ref said, that'll do and gave them the goal!!!!

i think it was a saturday league match as well!
