i do think uniteds price on the match is too big mate... ill be honest. valencia are no great shakes and other than rangers we have looked like scoring goals.. hopefully rio and vida together again may help the defence

the correct scores are just what i have every united game mate i cant help it.. i suppose 20 a week adds up if yo never get any in though :)

easy for your lot last night SJ? i was tempted to go all in as i thought it was better interest than the bank to be honest
Report bornisthekingofSB September 29, 2010 7:46 AM BST
people keep thinking i am on the wind up mate, but we are not playing that well, but then again who is in the league?Really think the league in terms of quality has dropped over the past two/three seasons, but suppose thats more exciting for the neutral

Good thing for us(oldie fans) CA is slowly bringing some of the kids through, lets just hope people are patient with them and let them learn by their mistakes.
Report morrissey September 29, 2010 7:54 AM BST
i agree and you can look at gibson and rafael and macheda for our young uns who are being given a big chance mate.. whether you like them or not fergie is giving the young lads a fair crack.. same as javier hernandez he only cost lol 7 million but he will get a few years.. amazes me some are calling him a flop already!!!
Report morrissey September 29, 2010 7:55 AM BST
and ill be honest SJ i havent seen much of chelsea this season with the time differences and all that. i didnt even stay up for the city game as id eben out for a meal and was fked but i coudnt believe you lost it when i did see the xtended highlights
Report bornisthekingofSB September 29, 2010 7:56 AM BST
seems to be the norm now mate, same as some of our youngsters they have a poor few minutes and everyone wants to write them off.
Report morrissey September 29, 2010 7:59 AM BST
i admit i dont rate gibson to be fair, think he is the same as fletch but not as good.. maybe he will get better as he gets older like fletch did and he has a better shot on him but im not sure thats enough for him.

i think you lot look strong this year. not unbeatable by any means but strong.. i think the two games against us will go a long way to defining the title again given i think both will drop points unexpectedly again.
Report 3132 September 29, 2010 8:01 AM BST
Valencia have been defending well and hitting teams on the counter attack with pace/movement...United have been leaking a lot of goals this season.

Unai Emery is a shrewd/tactical coach who will have seen Utd's defensive weaknesses this season...they have lost Silva/Villa/Marchena but still have Soldado/Juan Mata/Jaoquin...still a good side and showed that in 1st match in Turkey as not many beat Bursaspor at home.
Report morrissey September 29, 2010 8:03 AM BST
im not saying united will definitely win but i think 2/1+ is decent price for united who havent struggled for goals really with rio and vida back together and united usually playing a variation of 4-5-1 away from home in europe..

the correct scores i have for every united game Grin

Should be a good game, were valencia in the europa last season?
Report morrissey September 29, 2010 8:47 AM BST
who cares.. last season is a long time gone..  Grin

who you playing tomorrow night RP? i know city have juve
Report Avocado September 29, 2010 8:50 AM BST
The odds are the wrong way round. Valencia should be 2 to 1 and United should be favourites.
Report rommel September 29, 2010 8:51 AM BST
Valencia have won none of their last five Champions League home matches.
Report funkypunk September 29, 2010 8:52 AM BST
Valencia win tonight.
Report REDUNDANT PUNTER September 29, 2010 9:04 AM BST
were playing thursday, i know last seasons long gone but even you should be able to remember we finished 7th
Report DeSSieReborn September 29, 2010 9:25 AM BST
United have such a **** poor record in Spain I don't know how anyone could punt them to win. I'll be overjoyed if we can hold out for a 0-0 draw.
Report Avocado September 29, 2010 9:26 AM BST
Valencia got thumped at home by Real Madrid last season. United could do the same tonight.
Report careful eugene September 29, 2010 9:32 AM BST
1 win in 18 games in spain a weakened side its a no brainer
Report REDUNDANT PUNTER September 29, 2010 9:39 AM BST
Ive not seen Valencia this season, but I guess the question is are they equal or better than, fulham, bolton, everton, at home, do they possess forward players who can equal those teams in scoring terms against united, and can united muster any goals without, rooney, giggs, scholes, I suppose valencia would take a draw, but a victory would probably garauntee them into the knockout stages, should be a good game but hard to predict, and maybe betting in other markets such as bookings or corners
Report funkypunk September 29, 2010 9:39 AM BST
i don't watch Manure games but tonight i'll make an exception...as i believe Valencia will give them a jolly good rogering Laugh
Report Avocado September 29, 2010 9:43 AM BST
This is a bit different from a league match though redundant punter. These European games are a big occasion for the players whereas going to grounds like Fulham and Bolton is just a necessary chore.
Report AgentR September 29, 2010 9:48 AM BST
0-0
Report rommel September 29, 2010 9:49 AM BST
a chore!!like doing the dishes or mowing the lawn or something?errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr no

if your blood aint pumping playing every game in the prem....oh forget it
Report Knockout Ned September 29, 2010 10:03 AM BST
Some of the comments on here are superb, Man Utd should be favourites and Valencia 2/1... Based on what? No Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, leaking goals left right and centre at European powerhouses such as Fulham, Everton & Bolton, even Liverpool popped two in against them. Both will play defensive formations, pack the midfield etc. If I had to call anything here it would be under 2.5 and a draw, suits both teams.
Report Avocado September 29, 2010 10:22 AM BST
Ned if you think you're such an expert then I suggest you post your full name and address and bank details on here for all to see.

Valencia going well in domestic stuff. United stuttering and missing key players. Valencia 2-1.

Backed Valancia and laid Man utd 2 days ago, could have greened up with how the price drifted on the reds yesterday but oddly it has come right back in again.

For me I can't see man utd winning, may find a 0-0 or a 1-1, but i would rather be against them then for them and have also done a little on the spreads on the home side, can't have this man utd team at the minute, esp what side they have out.
