Coventry seriously let me down on Saturday ,leaving me with 2 loses on the bounce and 3 out of 5 winners overall.

I am still lokking for value in bet no 6 but i need a win to restore the balance so i am being more cautious in my approach for this bet.

I have spent some time on this one and I think there are some tasty bets to be had on Tuesday the problenm is choosing which one. There are about seven I really like but taking into account current form i going cautious on this one and floating a more adventurous one if a bit more risky but at the price is real value.

So my value bet fot Tuesday is not rocket science but it is CARDIFF to beat C Palace at 1.6.

Consider the facts:

Palace have lost all 4 league games away from home this season they have conceded 12 and have yet to score a single goal . They conceded 5 against Derby (19 th in the League) on Saturday and are currently 20 th in the League having the 2nd worst defensive record in the League (17 goals in 8 matches).

Cardiff on the other hand are unbeaten at home having won 3 out of matches scoring 9 and conceding 2. their away form has let them down a bit but hey lie 2nd in the League 6 pts behind top club QPR.they should be comfotably too strong for Palace.

This looks a value home bet. ( i try to pick bigger prices than this but would like to improve my strike rate as indicated earlier so Cardiff it is.)

My other bet which is worth consideration at a much more attractive price is Watford at 2.3 v Swansea

This is a generous price if you consider the facts:

Swansea have not won away all season losing all 4 games indeed they have not won away in the league for 6 months and have had 8 straight league defeats on the road . They have only scored 2 away all season in the League and have coceded 9 . They have lost away to Hull, Norwich, Leeds and Forest were by all accounts they were dreadful (lost 3-1). Their home form is great having won all 4 games leaving them 9th in the table.

By contrast Watford are on a roll. They are 3rd in the league have only lost one all season scoring 18 and conceding 10. There away form is better than their home form (hence the price) but they have scored 9 goals in the last two games.

2.3 has to be taken

If you are intersted in accas the  others that nearly made the value bet are Peterborough at 1.83 v Notts County and
QPR at 1.72 v Millwall

Good luck if you go in and remember these assessments are made without knowing team news.

Good luck all and happy punting!!!

Constructive comments as always are always welcomeLove

Stats don't tell the whole story, you can't base your bets purely on stats in my opinion but good luck with your selections.

Watford is available at 2.42 - that is a very attractive price for a team in 3rd place.

Agree with Cardiff, Olofinjana should be back and therefore Cardiff revert to a 4-5-1 which will be strong even without Chopra/Bellamy. Palace without Vaughan shouldnt provide too much of a hassle for Cardiff. Whittingham is due and as you mention unbeaten at home so far this season all bodes well.

Get on at 1.6

Agree with Cardiff Not Watford or QPR, Palace are very poor they lack ideas going forward and cant defend If Cardiff want to go up they have to take 3pts against teams like Palace

Be very carefull, i feel this price is too short. How much bairing has palaces 5-0 loss put on the price. It was a freak result for them although their away form is poor. Our form looks good but tread carefully.

Millwall (h)- we were very lucky to get the 3 points here even though we played an average millwall team with 10 men for 2/3 of the game and missed a penalty, they should of been 2 up early on.

Hull (h)- Won the game but was far from a good performance against a team who hadnt won for a year away from home.

Donny (h)- This day was all about Bellamy and the scoreline flattered us, donny could of been easily 2 up in the first quarter

We have been getting results but at 1.6 without Bellamy, Chopra, Olly. id be carefull. Performances of late have been nothing to ride home about.

qpr due not to win a game...millwall looking to stop the rot...

london derby added into the equation...NO BET

watford are as capable of being just as bad as they are brilliant & swansea must surely do something away from home eventually...NO BET

cardiff look a solid choice against an extremely out of sorts palace...HOME WIN

GL with ur choices Happy

agree , stats dont really add up to much ,
teams are nearly alway made up of different players from game to game,
injuries , lucky pen , poor ref etc etc ,
too early in season too ,
but on form ..cardiff look strong bet ,
my 4 for tomorrow ,
cardiff ,
qpr ,
bournemouth ,
brighton

Totally on board with cardiff they are my bankers in my accas
My team Q.P.R. were not great on saturday, so don't be too taken in by the stats, 1.73(8/15 on some coupons)is not great, its a derby game and whilst i hope my team wins i can see a draw.

hello CARDIFF1927 good post but like I said if you cant beat Palace at home even without the player missing the i will be shocked. There is no doubt that Palace will come for the draw so it will be up to Cardiff to break them down.

jimbo27    hello do you know what scares me about you team ? its the fact you are running away with the league (points wise) and haven't played that well i dont know if you would agree with me or not. Maybe take out the Ipswich game where you played well and maybe second half against Middlesbrough would like your views on this ????

Well I bloody did!  Had them in a treble...went 0-1 down after three minutes and that was the end of my bet.  Most disappointing!

No Chopra or Bellamy for Cardiff tonight, but should still be far too good for a struggling Palace.

I find Championship games an absolute lottery and form seems to go out of the window. I may be wrong but away teams always seem to do well in this league regardless of form. Gl with your selections but I avoid the championship like a plague.

What about Saints at Yeovil?Iknow they have been a bit unpredictable so far this seasonShocked, but a decent win at Hillsborough on Saturday and Yeovil are in shocking form, beaten them in all previous meetings so have taken the 10/11,also chuked them in a treble with Bournemouth and Ebbsfleet, tight one the Bournemouth game but fancy home advantage to win the day,Ebbsfleet must take care of Cray wanderers at home aswell. Also a lay of Sheffield Wednesday think thay are in a bit of dissaray at the moment and Oldham are fair side ,gl with yours.
