Probably once again aload of bollocks, but that's the rumor going around.

Anyone heard the expression, when in a hole, stop digging?

Hearing this as well, doubt its true.
Report Onions September 26, 2010 11:35 PM BST
You could understand if true, friday's match was a mess, but sacking a manager now isn't going to help.

Although if he keeps dropping Fryatt and Hobbs, and plays our £3million striker in right midfield, he won't last long.
Report Baker32 September 26, 2010 11:35 PM BST
would you be happy if they did ???
Report scotbet September 26, 2010 11:36 PM BST
can we just wait til after the norwich game , hate backing against a team without manager
Report Onions September 26, 2010 11:38 PM BST
Not really Baker. We were dire against Portsmouth, but we have been decent and had some terrible luck.

Late goal disallowed against Reading, would have been 2-2. Goal disallowed against Portsmouth when 1-0 down would have changed the game. We've played some great footie too, should have stuff Coventry.

We just need him to stop mixing the team, and play Waghorn, Dyer and Fryatt up top, or even Howard/Fryatt. The game against Norwich could be his final one I think. It seems he's lost the dressing room, which you can';t come back from.
Report Mike Bassett England Manager September 26, 2010 11:41 PM BST
Rumour is that Alan Pardew takes over after the Norwich game.
Report hippie September 26, 2010 11:42 PM BST
The Mirror is reporting Norwich is his last game and Pardew is in the frame but who is going to tell their manager, "you're sacked after the next game"?
Report Onions September 26, 2010 11:42 PM BST
Sven is the rumour. Cry

We have a rich (ish) chairman now, so Sven can come and ruin our club
Report Baker32 September 26, 2010 11:43 PM BST
At swansea his teams didnt score many goals or let in many but like at Leicester they had i think the most shots in the league last season. Now why is this ?????
Report nickwin September 26, 2010 11:56 PM BST
thought Sven would have bigger fish to fry and would want to manage a big club after the f*** up at notts county.
Report Angela Rebecchi September 27, 2010 12:16 AM BST
Leicester are a very good team, and a good run for their good play is just around the corner. If they sack Sousa I hope the feckers sink. Great manager, cracking little team, playoffs still very possible the way they are playing.
Report Angela Rebecchi September 27, 2010 12:17 AM BST
Leicester just looked like they'd been in Pompet too long.
Report debbiedoesgallas September 27, 2010 5:57 PM BST
How about this from left field:
"the chairman is going to put his hand in his pocket and bring Martin O'Neill back"
At least this is a rumour that made me smile and if it was true (million to one imho) then lets get rid of Sousa today !!!
Back to the real world - I hope they stick with Sousa as I think in time he will turn it around - Pardew might get us out of the immediate mess but can't see him taking the club forward in the long run and Sousa might just be able too. After the Cardiff game we looked like a very good team so hopefully one really bad performance won't see us throw the baby out with the bath water.

something must have been pretty wrong at leicester or pearson wouldnt have jumped ship to go to very skint hull city Confused
Report madlung September 27, 2010 6:52 PM BST
never seen defending like it against pompey even for championship standard.
norwich should get double figures.
enjoy the relegation dog fight.
Report Onions September 27, 2010 7:12 PM BST
It was our worst game for years without a doubt, but I wouldn't banker on Norwich, we were outstanding against Cardiff and Coventry, should have stuffed them both.
Report tiny dave September 27, 2010 8:05 PM BST
pompey were poor price Cry

but honestly, sousa isnt going to do leicester any good this year, be low champ side at best, but surely teams need to give managers a fair crack at it??? remember our fans wanted mick out coz we finished 7th the one year then year after shut everyone up and took us up as champs

how can you sack a manager after what 7-8games? laughable and shambles if it happens

Would've, could've, should've, didn't.  Fair play, you outplayed us and we were lucky not to be on the end of a kicking, but when you're playing like that and still not winning you've gotta be asking questions.
Report Mosschops September 27, 2010 9:05 PM BST
Would be fairly pointless to get rid so early. I think give him until the end of October either way.
Report Onions September 29, 2010 4:10 PM BST
Looks like anything less than 3 points no Saturday and he's gone.

3rd best defence in the league last season, to the worse defence in the league now, with a defensively minded manager.  Confused

Crazy times, also the fact he doesn't play Fryatt is comical.

Fryatt came on and did what he does best, scored twice, then sadly got sent off Laugh but still, with less than 30 minutes on the pitch and only starting 3 games this season (two of them in the cup I believe) he is our top scorer Laugh
Report tiny dave September 29, 2010 5:41 PM BST
really pathetic if leicester sack him

he's had 2x months in charge, oh well comically run club by the looks of things
