never bet there. I played for a bonus there and placed a big bet on Galatasaray.. was happy to see them winning... and bwin  canneled my bet afterwards with no reason named.
just wrote their support an angry email and will withdraw all my money. they can stick their bonus up their @ss.

These dodgy practices seem to be a regular occurence with this company. Did you ask for an explanation?
Report graycm57 August 5, 2010 6:39 PM BST
How big? BWIN always cancelled my bets if it was over 3 figures, which I found stupid and moved my money elsewere.
Report I've got to...didcot, yately August 5, 2010 6:40 PM BST
why anyone uses this sorry excuse for a firm is beyond me
Report graycm57 August 5, 2010 6:40 PM BST
^ unless I lost, then the bet stood.
Report Danyo August 5, 2010 6:41 PM BST
yeah, awaiting an answer.
the odds there are a joke anyway... always 0.2-0.3 lower than here. as I said.. I only played for a deposit bonus... but not interested anymore if they cancel winning bets without explanations of their own.
Report graycm57 August 5, 2010 6:42 PM BST
Sorry that should be 3 figures not over 3 figures.
Report Winner_Winner_Chicken_Diner August 5, 2010 6:42 PM BST
is there max bet not £300? Someone put this bet on, and their team only drew. They cancelled his bet and gave his losing stake back and told him they were closing his account
Report Danyo August 5, 2010 6:44 PM BST
I put 500€ on Gala. I am playing there since maybe a week regularly now to clear my bonus. usually they limited my payout to 500€ (including the stake).. so first I was happy to see my bet got accepted.. potential payout with stake was 775€.
but no, seems they've changed their mind after Gala won.
Report turtleshead August 5, 2010 6:45 PM BST
If you don't get any joy with them, contact sportsbook review, they have a pretty good record in getting companies to shape up.
Report Alias August 5, 2010 6:47 PM BST
I wonder if they've heard of IBAS.Silly

bwin, 365, sportingbet etc all are beyond any joke - if you lose, you lose, if you happen to pick on winning bets a few times, play with larger money or bet on obscure markets like Polish, Romanian, Greek (!) leagues, then the so-called traders will either cancel your bets (but only if you won of course) or restrict your betting stakes to 1.23 pounds next time you bet
Report AdamWee August 5, 2010 6:51 PM BST
Why anyone bets with these mugs is beyond me. All you need to do is type "Bwin complaints" into Google and see the pages upon pages of unhappy customers. Like Danyo said, their prices are s**t at times compared to on here.

Closing an account down after being a few hundred up is pathetic. Hopefully more people will see them for what they really are and take their business elsewhere.
Report Danyo August 5, 2010 7:04 PM BST
ok and their answer is.... "YOUR BET WAS CANCELLED DUE TO A WRONG STARTING TIME"

Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh

on their page there was 16.30pm as the starting time.. however it started 16.00pm... but who the f*** cares???
they would need to cancel 90% of all tennis bets applying this rule continously.
but I know this is a special rule only for me...
Report xGURKx August 5, 2010 7:06 PM BST
Danyo you did not behave well in bwin chat imo Devil
Report turtleshead August 5, 2010 7:08 PM BST
The match did kick off at 4.00.

Not really a shock that they cancelled it then, was it? Plain
Report turtleshead August 5, 2010 7:09 PM BST
Did you lump on the match because they had the wrong kick off time, and they were already winning Confused
Report flatliner August 5, 2010 7:09 PM BST
Better method than most lol Laugh
Report Danyo August 5, 2010 7:10 PM BST
no turtles... I bet at 3.55pm exactly... 5 minutes before kick off
Report Derk August 5, 2010 7:10 PM BST
what time did you place the bet though?
Report flatliner August 5, 2010 7:10 PM BST
Although there are some on this forum who would still end up losing.....
Report Sybil Thorndike August 5, 2010 7:12 PM BST
if the bet was placed after 4pm
Report Danyo August 5, 2010 7:13 PM BST
they didn'T accept any bets after 4.00pm.. they were well aware it started at that time... it's only that they had 4.30pm written in their schedule.
Report Fergus8 August 5, 2010 7:14 PM BST
365 are immense

market leaders imo
Report Rob_The_Bantam August 5, 2010 7:14 PM BST
Go to Sports Book Review, they have a reasonable success rate with Bwin disputes.
Report turtleshead August 5, 2010 7:16 PM BST
Fair enough, I apologise for the assumption, but it did look dodgy from what you put at first.

In which case, as previously mentioned, I would contact SBR.
Report Danyo August 5, 2010 7:21 PM BST
but yeah Gurk you are right, I wasn't a saint in their chat... but how can I be... with all these crooked "hartz4" mugs around me...
Report Danyo August 5, 2010 7:26 PM BST
but good site this sportsbookrating.com, thx.
bwin has a C- rating there. will take a look at some better bookies who offer a deposit bonus and get it there...
