Do Boro have the creativity for Boyd/McDonald to get the chances ? Robson/Thomson are both hard bassa's but not most creative.
You wont get great workrate from either so someone will need to do the running for both of them. |

no value imo...he will be playing against better defenders this season
and boro will scrape into the play offs at best |

Doubled up with Lambert in league1 for a 50/1 shot for me - very happy with that myself

Better defenders ? This is the same league Charlie Adam was classed as a star in.

Im a bristol city fan but I am not sure why people want to back Maynard at 13 and 14s on here - he's out for at least a month. Lay away at the prices that are there, surly be bigger in a month (could be out longer if he needs an operation)

3132's point makes anyone elses mute.
charlie adam was a formidable force last season. boyd is a proven goalscorer in the same league Adam stuggled in. Boyd surely a great bet. in 8 seaons at his current level, he'd win it at least once. END OF |

that being said- now that middlesbrough are a premierleague/scotland retreat, if they can't compete, then scottish football is officially ****.

As a boro fan think 3132s point about who will provide service for boyd is very good point
big concern for many boro fans, after johnson left last season we had lack of creative player boyd seems the sort of forward that needs to be fed the ball |

tbf, boyd has scored 7 goals for scotland. our service isn't brilliant. he'll score given the chance. he only needs 1, not 7. i wouldn't worry too much about service. if you create only 1 or 2 chances a game, he'll score more often than not.
and no, im not a rangers fan. |

Window still open - Step
I can see Emnes Mido and Digard all being shipped out to create room for 3 more signings. We have also signed the new....Kinki On Boyd I will reserve judgement until I see him play. |
