Braunschweig to beat Sandhausen at 1.97.

Eintracht Braunschweig are top of the third tier two games into the new season following a fine start. Braunschweig narrowly missed out on promotion in 2009-10, a campaign in which they won 13 of their 19 home matches, whereas Sandhausen tasted success on their travels just three times. They  lost 6-0 on their last visit to the Eintracht-Stadion last November, and I’ll be hoping for more of the same when this evening’s encounter kicks off at 6pm.

Spurs v Benfica – Over 2.5 goals at 1.64

Think this will be an entertaining match, both teams like to attack and score goals for fun, and both teams are not the best at the back. So will be backing 3 goals or more in this one that kicks off at 7.45

Tbh i was just going to post braunschweig in a thread. I think they're absolutely amazing value today given their opposition and themselves. Gone in big stakes here. But as you started the tip, I'll let you get the stick when they lose Laugh
Report TheRebirthOfBrainsurgeon August 3, 2010 1:08 PM BST
no offense but if you are posting on specific tipping website (looking to eventually gain money from doing so i imagine?) then you should be posting more detailed information in your write ups, team news would be a good start, if your just doing it for the feck of it then fair play and good luck...

My anti-virus tell me it contains some nasties. Confused

Using AVG or any other rubbish one I presume?

Sites perfectly safe, run FF + Noscript and you're fine anyway
Report LeoOnAHigh August 3, 2010 1:09 PM BST
shut up brain, your write up normally consists of: 'i am betting on this because leo told me to.'
Report xlnc August 3, 2010 1:10 PM BST
soc - the game isnt in play is it.
Report SoC731 August 3, 2010 1:11 PM BST
Afraid not, which is the only downfall.

Anyway to add a bit more info to his original tip.

Braun had a relatively quiet transfer period, they didn't really buy much if anyone of note, but the key factor is they sold no one important. A few bench sitters got shoved around from what I've read. But the first team for the first 2 games, 10 out the 11 were there last season.

Sand have had a busy transfer period, now my knowledge isn't the best here, but they have about 4 or 5 players max starting this season that started last season. I'm unsure whether they've managed to have a great transfer period and bring in 7 top notch players, or bring in 7 reserve squad members due to selling their best players. There recent 4-1 win is overpowered by the fact the home side got a red card (and still managed to score 2 goals) ok 1 was an own goal Laugh I just don't think they have the quality to come anywhere near close today to getting a point.
Report SoC731 August 3, 2010 1:17 PM BST
Well i copy/pasted anyway, sites secure on my end apparently. And don't run 2 antivirus, the argue with each other and doesn't solve anything.

Aye xlnc, i usually avoid out of play games. But I just think for the price and teams that it's worth a cheeky bet today.
Report xlnc August 3, 2010 1:18 PM BST
soc - there are already some lovely value bets today, so im going to leave it alone. Benfica, Deportivo are two games that spring to mind. Lovely odds. Over 2.5 Anderlecht at 1.5 also seems pretty good to me.
Report Violencia Fantastico Retardo August 3, 2010 1:20 PM BST
too good a bet to leave out just cos its not in play, im doubling them up with Offenbach

Mainly on stats I'm afraid.

Braunschweig to beat Sandhausen at 1.97.

Not sure this bet is all that TBH.Braunschweig have had a good start, but to put things into prospective, they beat Saarbrücken 3-0, but Saarbrücken have just come up from the regional division, they had a 2-1 result against Dynamo Dresden who finished only 2 places up from Sandhausen last season. Sandhausen lost to Kickers 2-0, but Kickers beat Braunschweig 3-0 last season, their other result was a 4-1 win away to Wacker. In terms of head to head, last time they met it was 1-1, yes Braunschweig did beat Sandhausen 6-0 at home last time, but that seems a freak result, as all other games have only had 1 goal differnce in them, K. Onuegbu scored a hatrick for Braunschweig in that game but he is no longer with them.I am not saying Braunschweig are not going to win, just that odds are about right IMO. If you have backed them ,then i hope i am wrong.

Last season Braunshweig at home: W13 D3 L3
Sandhausen away:                 W3  D6 L10
Braunshweig have got off to a good start (winning both games), and Sandhausen's win this season came against the team that finished 1 place above relegation last season.  Braunshweig also have better head-to-head results.
Seem like good value to me.
