yeah the book was good. if you like those sort of books you should read 'Nightwork' by Thomas Glavinic - seriously strange book and quite creepy and will leave you thinking 'wtf have i just read'

bit strange at the end , not sure what to make of it , that family following him for a long time, why did they have a dog? great film tho , i just dont think there was a happy ending in it at the end for the boy, didnt follow the theme of the film
