i want to pitch for £50,000 for a product. I need to pitch to them an exciting invention so they part with their  money.

Whereas in actual fact, i shall take the £50,000, (ok maybe leave £3,000 for a trip to L.A.)

anyhow the remaining £47,000, i shall deposit in my BF account and im convinced i can double/treble that in few months.

i need ideas on a product to covince them to part with their cash

cheers!

I have just got a patent for an oven proof sausage turner. Saves having to keepturning them when under a grill abd get a nice all round well cooked look.

I don't get this show at all.

If you come up with a great business idea why would you want to give away equity to people in exchange for money, when you could easily just go get a loan off a bank. If the business plan is solid, the bank will have no problems offering you the money.

The idea is the dragons also spend alot of time with you, thereby increasing your profits, which is why they say 40% equity of a business, or 40% of nothing?

Exactly justin, they only show an interest if order book or assets already cover or near cover their investment.

They are investing less than RBS in my book Laugh

1) because their great business idea,is probably not so great
or
2)the bank is not willing to take risk on them, yet the dragons may do
+

they probably come up to the show and they get some attendance money, and then if rejected they can go to the bank and also they get their face and product on national TV , will millions of viewrs

There "connections" and "experience" is overrated, especially as a lot of the business ideas they invest in, they will have no prior experience in.

You will get approx 0% expertise in your 2 bit company.  They only invest where investment is covered and if you do strike lucky they will take a slice.

I would love to punch Theo.  Any believe me,

he would be.... out!
