^i'm not questioning the quality or looks of goods...just the fact that your actually paying not only for the item but to advertise the company for nothing !

what do you propose as a solution to this great injustice?

So after you go into Primark and buy an unbranded t-shirt you then walk around town advertising the fact by carrying their bag which has their company name across it!
you are paying them to advertise for them for free

" not this advertising rubbish "...so you think it's ok to actually PAY a company to advertise it's goods  ?

Probably chucking out his Nescafe, dismantling the Hoover, stamping on his Oakleys and putting the rest up for sale on.........eBay.
Quality mug post, now clear off and get yourself down to Sainsbury's. But own brands only for you son.

Juan you silly little goon, you keep repeating this drivel like a record stuck on repeat, yet you can not provide one post from myself outside of this range.

Johnny Mustang...now your just being silly...i'm mostly referring to items of clothing namely football tops...has it never occurred to you, "why the  p h u c k  am i walking around with "EMIRATES" across my chest ?... i don't get discounted flights, i don't have a rich arab uncle in Dubai...but you have paid good money to wear "EMIRATES" on your chest, don't you know Laugh

funky, maybe we've taken it out of context a little by being facetious, but it is the same principle, it's just branding at the end of the day, common across almost all products you excahnge for cash, do you immediately throw away the wrapper before eating a subway? or transfer a coke from mcdonalds into a clear beaker?
By:

bye now...off to town for a spot of shoplifting (only designer stuff mind) Laugh

even with funky's five finger discount you'd still be advertising them for free by wearing them, a little contradictive to your whole point there.

Fair play funky (and I liked your last post). For a bit of fun, why don't you start a similar thread on motorsports/F1 forum on here?

I spoke to the person who had arranged the sponsorship of Oldham Athletic when they knocked West Ham outy of the League Cup with 5 goals from Frank Bunn, to chants of "has Macari had a bet" & had two cup semi finals against Manchester United.

His companys name had 5 letters.........just right to fit acrossw a shirt.

He said "thousands of people are walking around Lancashire & appearing on television wearing shirts with our name on.........cant be bad"

I generally wear Lacoste polo shirts, Fred Perry polo shirts, Firetrap/Diesel jeans, Lacoste trainers.

I don't care if they have a badge on and I am advertising for free, I am wearing something which I like and can afford to wear. If I lived in a bedsit and wore the same clothes daily that were bought from a charity shop, I would be starting a pointless jealousy thread on a Betfair forum advertising the fact I am a knob. Think the op has managed that anyway.

you my friend are just one of many sheep that just go with the flow, a brainless 'follow the leader' lemming that can't think for themselves and needs to have society guide them on the path through life as a sheep...ooh i must have one of those 'coz so and so has one doh.
i bet every time you see Beckham you don't shave for a week and you probably have a Jedward hairdo too Laugh
