the club sponsors pay the club to wear their company name on their tops and advertising hoardings etc...so the clubs get paid, the players get paid.
the brainless football fan then buy's a club shirt with the club sponsor's name on and wears it not only to the game but virtually every where. the sponsors are well happy with this because they actually have people willing to PAY THEM TO ADVERTISE THEIR GOODS FOR FREE...DOH ! |
