Tickets are now on sale at Bloomfield Road for the Premier League opener at Wigan on August 14.

Loyal season ticket holders should all be able to see the game at the DW Stadium, for which Pool have been allocated 4,200 tickets.

The club is staggering sales, with season ticket holders of five years' standing (of which there are 2,500) getting the first opportunity to purchase until next Tuesday.

Season ticket holders of two years or more – there are approximately 2,000 – can buy a ticket from 9am next Wednesday, with any remaining tickets going on sale to the other 7,000 season-ticket holders on Tuesday, August 10.

Pool fans are realistic. We know this gives us the chance to become a Championship "giant" for many years on the back of the revenue we generate from this season in the Premier League. We will go down but will have every chance of coming back in the following two seasons even stronger.

We were prepared for that but we're still here Laugh

Anyway what about these JCL's true Lasher fans?
