Braga a very tough side at home and Celtic will field a host of new faces with very little time to get to know each others games. Plus factors Celtic have had a few games pre season and Samaras has looked very sharp after WC and he is a good bet to catch the Braga defence cold. Don't see many goals but Celtic could come away with a 1-1 draw if Lennon plays Paddy the magician from the start. Finally the Strachan team is no more, onwards and upwards... 1-0 Braga would not be the worst result either

Braga are a great price at 2.06.   I might get on that or Braga DNB.   I can't see Celtic winning over there.

I am worried about how our fans will behave tonight, so far in pre season they have embarassed our once great club.

I have this horrible feeling that because Neil is in charge, certain fans will feel they can act like thugs.

Lets hope not, its not the cetlic way.

braga a great shout - a better celtic team than this got slaughtered last time they were in portugal.

samaras is, and always will be, mediocre at best and whilst lennon has brought in a lot of ppl, with the exception of juarez, they have it all to prove.

if mulgrew plays will get destroyed at left back.

braga express, all aboard. choo choo

I wouldn't be so sure for any Braga backers , Celtic have got results in portugal before against the bigger sides over there. Samaras lost confidence in England but every now and again he does produce some quality that can turn games, he is more than capable , just very inconsistent.

braga will be a very tough ask for celtic ,if they can stay within a one/two goal deficit they will have every chance at home ,anything can happen in a game of football but  celtic
winning(or scoring) away from home in europe ? .....lets hope they can but a draw would be more than a  great result ,also there preseason trip to the states is very close to more travel and dont think its the ideal prep, perhaps the money people should ask the coach whats best ,but one thing for sure scotland is in danger of sliding off the edge in the coeefficiant table and the only chance of things changing are the old firm doing the buisness.
last years abismal performances from the rest of the spl also rans were pathetic ...lets hope this year is different .

Zipi, i watch Sammy week in week out, if he is the guy we are pinning our faith on then i am worried.

I would rather waste millions on a loan deal striker. Maybe Bellamy, or Keane.

Hopefully the Millions wont be wasted this time though.

Our club is throwing cash away like no tomorrow, so lets hope for once, just once, it pays off

seriously, I would be delighted with a 1 goal defeat here. Lennon would bite your arm off for a 2-1 or 3-2 defeat here.

Platini,

My worry is that Neily would bite your arm off for saying hello to him.

I worry about his mental state to manage our once great club

agree Braga are a very decent price at 2.06. Second to Benefica last year and in fact headed that leage for quite a while. What swings the bet is the Braga home form. 15 wins from 16 last year. They inevitably score at home too.

They are offering discounted tickets for the game hoping for a decent crowd. Weather remains hot in Portugal and despite a waft around the US I expect Celtic to wilt more than Braga.

Agree with zipifried a 1-0 defeat for Cetic would be a good result.

I'm not happy with Lennon as manager. He's the cheap option. But now the season is underway, I'll get behind him and hope for a big improvement on last season's debacle.

All REAL celtic fans should get behind Lennon and the new players and the remaining old players. It is the youngest team in a while and personally i am happy it is absent of the money grabbing overrated injury prone thirty somethings from the EPL. Lennon if anything will cut out the outside bull crap influence that had crept into the celtic psyche in recent years. The most important people are the players and the talking has to be done on the pitch.
