not football related i know but, my neighbours cat keeps trying to break into my sons guinea pig cage, it keeps pulling at the mesh, afair bit of damage as been done, would i be within my rights to shoot the fooker right between the mince pies with my air rifle?  or would this deed fall foul of the law?

Can't really blame the cat if you're keeping it in the garden,  most animals would have a go at it.
Report Juan_sheet July 27, 2010 2:41 PM BST
just boot it in the chops

Thank the cat for highlighting the potential danger to your son's guinea pig and re-house it in a safer conveyance.

thing is the poor buggers have been cooped up in the garage all winter and i thought the garden would would make a nice airey change for them, but this bleedin cat is hell bent on getting them, ......i think soon the cat will be sleeping with the fishes (cue godfather theme)Cool

vizzbucks i have a serious answer for you. sounds daft but leave fruit rind around your garden, particularly around the cage. lemon rind is best but orange will do the job. cats hate it and will stay away if they think it'll be there.
Report Pflaps July 27, 2010 2:52 PM BST
yor lucky a fox aint made a mess of it yet
Report vizzbucks July 27, 2010 2:56 PM BST
fruit you say, cheers i'll try that,  I doubt a fox could get into the garde i have 6 foot walls,

is that a common spanish solution to this type of problem jordi? i thought you might suggest taking the cat up a bell tower and throwing him off the topLaugh
Report polybot July 27, 2010 3:10 PM BST
foxes are getting cleverer for sure, came home last week to find one had got in through a first floor window, had logged onto the pc and was in the process of transferring the contents of my bank account, got there just in time.

I've heard they are getting smarter. A mate of mine had to move out because some foxes broke in his house, bedded down and enforced their squatter's rights. Clever fookers.

You should simply urinate around the cage, thus indicating this iz yo turf.

Putting the poor guinea pig on public view like that is your fault. The poor cat is just being a cat. Go on the net and look up some of the better guinea pig homing solutions. You need to make an effort. Less time down the pub and wasted on BF and more time doing family things.

Will wait to hear that you have complied otherwise you are looking like jeremy Kyle materialSad

Buy some dried lion manure and sprinkle it around your garden. Scares them shitless.
