Club Friendly
Forest Green Rovers will play his 5 from 8 friendly pre-season games as they will welcome their neighbors Bristol Rovers. Forest Green last year season was not so great fixed at the bottom of the table but they hope to improve their results and claming to a better place this season. New manager, couple of new singings (expecting of more) talk enough for the pre season match results so far. Beating the non league lower division teams (Frome Town 3-0, Didcot Town 1-0, Shortwood United 2-1) and one lost game from Harborough Town 2-1. This will be his first home game for this season, expecting big crowd and big support.
Bristol Rovers on the other hand for this match will travel with their reserves and youth academy players as they will keep their first team mates for Wednesday game against Cheltenham, and on August 3rd against Stoke City. The Bristol Rovers Reserves will face Welsh Premier League club Llanelli this Friday, so I believe their views will less focused on Forest Green then Llanelli game. In the first friendly game against Walles City FC, Bristol Reserves won close 3-2 this lower division team.
