I had a car a couple of years ago that the manufacturer said all performance figures and for the engine life, should only be run on Shell super unleaded...sometimes I didnt have the choice and noticed no difference when I put supermarket stuff in

I keep a record of my fuel costs. Mostly buy Shell or ASDA and see no difference in MPG. Recently bought a tankful of the higher priced Shell V Power and got higher MPG but it costs more. The cost per mile was the same. Now on a tank of the new formula Shell regular fuel called Fuelsaver.

I find the more you put in the more miles you get out of it, anyone else? i put £10 in once and it lasted like 1 day before petrol light came on, that was just driving to work and back which is only like 10 miles max !!
