Why should they be favourites when their pitcher has a bigger ERA, and an overall worse record.

I explained in horsey thread. Price pitching poor lately, Tampa off form since the All Star, Talbot very hot all season, even hotter last few starts, overall history between the two pitchers, teams, and ballparks point to an even game if not favouriting Cleveland.

How on earth can someone with a 2.6 (I think it was) ERA over 16 games have been poor recently. If true then it shows you just how amazing he can be on his day.

Ok he got hit for 7 by NY, but his 5 other games before that were 2-2-2-2-3, which are all better than the other Pitcher.

In Baseball anyone can beat anyone on their day, but this looks to me like the classic 2.7 looks too high, without any reason behind it.

Price is 0-3 with a 5.68 ERA in his last three road starts after winning six of the previous seven behind a 2.66 ERA.

Bang out of form in his 3 road starts, doesnt equate to 1.6 favourtism imo.
