Why lay Alonso? Been quick all weekend, Ferrari showing true pace. Think you're a bit crazy myself.
They have been showing true pace for weeks now but have never transferred it into the qualy/ race. Red Bulls are still the superior car and I expect one of them to be on pole. Alonso is a big lay here.
Massa/Alonso with 9 mins to go. They do look strong tbh.

Worrying thing is alonso is actually faster this course, he was fastest in practise, in Q1, in Q2 and just got very unlucky in Q3. I wouldn't back vettel with stolen money today tbh

the track is in the midst of a flat highly vegitated lans (lots of trees). If there is high heat (which there is) then there is a high probability of rain originating at the source....without a weather front being blown in for example...like SPA in Belgium. V unpredictable weather patterns, it could rain absolutely unforecasted
calmoan ive been watching f1 for my entire life and have seen this happen at Spa many many times. i have never seen this happen at hockenheim. theres very little cloud cover around this morning and i dont think humidity is high enough for your forest effect to become significant.

forests surrounding spa are about 4 or 5 times the size of that around hockenheim. could this be significant?

alonso would passed him in anycase guys was going 0.5sec faster per lap
He wasnt going 0.5 sec faster, thats the point. He had about 25laps, and the gap was exactly the same from the start of that period to the end.
he got it from 4secs to 0.8secs within space of around 5laps then obviously he was slowed down by massa being ahead of him
