ok, I will be more positive. This market has very much the same characteristics as the last Fulham manager market.
Google Al Fayed management style, or variations on those words and you will understand why this one is difficult to call. |

Basically I don't think the punters have a clue yet and they are guessing and backing some possible candidates plus a surprising amount of complete no hopers. But I am hoping that there will be clear signals soon.

£300 matched on Jol at evens just now but you can never tell whether that is informed money or irrational over exuberance.

MARTIN Jol is set to be named the new Fulham boss in the next 48 hours.
The Chronicle understands the 54-year-old would be happy to take the rolling contract on offer at Craven Cottage as well as an improved salary on his current job at Ajax. Jol only took over at the Amsterdam Arena last summer, helping them to the Dutch Cup and second spot in the Eredivisie, but it is believed he is keen to return to the Premier League. Talks with Sven Goran Eriksson, who has been favourite for the post, have stalled over the terms of the deal and the fat wage packet the Swede has become accustomed to with England, Manchester City and the Ivory Coast. The Whites are keen to appoint Roy Hodgson's successor as soon as possible with the pre-season trip to Sweden on the horizon early next week, with Jol set to fit the void in SW6. |

Made no sense to me either but aren't Ajax in some financial trouble? Could partially explain this. |

Well some people(s) don't care for the source as over evens still readily available.

DAVE JONES NEXT FULHAM JOB AND YES I TOOK 9-1.
By:
Dave jones will be named on the weekend as the new boss.
By:
Must say, getting Martin Jol as manager would be quite a scoop although I will believe it when I see it. Certainly would prefer him to the Swede.
Think it's fair to say that this I would never normally expect to see Jol and Cardiff's Dave Jones so close together in a next manager market. |
By:
Dave Jones ? prove you are not rampers united and name the source. Conmen from rampsville or top info?

Its been a rampers paradise [smiley:crazy]

flamin eck. Now they are piling into Hitzfeld!
By:
Hitzfeld hit back down. ffs Only guarantee here is I'm going to absorb another next manager market loss.
By:
why, who have you laid / backed?
By:
Many all the wrong time.
Only Jol will give me a small profit. Everyone else are varying size losses. |
By:
It is tricky to know what is in peoples heads at this time of night. But just take advantage.
By:
Hitzfeld was fun. He ruled himself out, hit 100.0 and yet people were taking back in this evening to sub 9.0.
Nothing amazes me anymore. |

Dave Jones to be the next Fulham manager ??? The only info i have are as follows...
As i have postedon the 8th july on davecrazys thread. Jones is on £800,00 a year at Cardiff and has shares in our club, but we have no money and are not allowed to buy players untill we pay our tax bill. Cardiff and DJ have been in Portugal the last 5 days and will be there for the next 5 days. /0\ |
By:
To add to the above post...There has been no news in local press or TV about DJ and Fulham.
The CCFC website has no news about the above, but there is a message board with comments. I will be surpised if DJ goes with his family happy living in South Wales ( so he says ). If DJ goes to Fulham...Any chance he can take Mark Hudson with him [;)] |
By:
You could knock me down me with a feather if Jones gets the job. Al Fayed will need to approve the appointment and the Jones history will be too much, imo.
By:
I only meant it was surprising how much they and S/B were allowing on this type of market there is usually a pretty small limit of around £40 to £50 especially when it he was trading at odds on , on here anyhoos Jol or Not Jol is more or less the same to me now will win around the same
