I wish I had a huge bank to go up against the people trying to manipulate these football prices, unfortunatly a few thousand doesn't really cut it

there certainly is a few bosses of the markets! Brazil price a 7 o'clock this morning 1.97 to back now 2.06, Uruaguay price was 2.16 now 2.08 they just panic the market to get the prices they want
Why would you need a big bank to lay 1.97 and back 2.06

You don't need a big bank for that but I think you are missing my point, that price movement was just the price being manipulated by some BIG banks (happened nearly every world cup game) if I had a large bank I could manipulate the price the other way and scare these guys off! as I say my few thousand can make a couple of hundred trading the price but if I had a large bank I would love to take these guys on
If you had a big bank and backed £1,000,000 at 1.97 then laid £1,000,000 at 2.06, you wouldn't have a big bank for long
just prices being forced into line with certain Asian books. If you had a big bank and attempted to force a price you'd soon lose your money
if 1.97 is correct price then 2.06 is obviously the value

On the other if hand 1.97 was value lay and 2.06 is the correct price, these manipulators just walked away with some value to add to their already large banks.

tehres a difference between the price correcting and being manipulated. in my mind, the first is because the price is now wrong for whatever reason and needs to be corrected. the later is the up and down movement of prices purely so they can balance their book across markets but i could be wrong. theres an element of intrigue behind it.

Now the Lokomotiv game odds are being manipulated because the market is weak but even then you could force a price then be left high and dry when you find the vast majority of money has left the market
