The mentality you're referring to is one to do with prcie. If your even money "tip" on Sunday had lost you would have course have got the odd gloating United fan laughing at you, but in general there would have been very little abuse for an even money loser. Most people on here realise they only win approx half of the time, so there's a 50-50 chance you'll be wrong and unless you're saying things like "can't lose", "free money" etc you won't get that grief. When you tip up a 4/11 shot though you're setting yourself up. What is the point going on a betting forum and saying a 4/11 shot is going to win? Everyone knows that bet "should" win, we don't need to be told. When you're bullish about a long odds on shot that doesn't win then you're going to get grief. If you don't want to be on the wrong end of that then either don't bother telling us a 4/11 shot should win, because we all know that anyway, or if you do give tips at these prices make sure they win. Hope this helps.
