Any idea what price at half time a 0-0 would be if it was 22.00 at the start of the match if it is still 0-0?

Depends on who is playing, how the game is played, number of players on the pitch, the consequences of a draw etc.

If, say a league game between 2 mid table sides in the middle of a season it would probably be a 9 or 10/1 shot.
Report nutsinho • November 10, 2009 2:09 PM GMT
i'll put u in a head-lock

Still that big? I was thinking around 7 or 8 but i understand what your saying about how the game is being play of course, i'm just looking for n average.

You reckon on average 9-10/1 cool
Report The Magic Flea • November 10, 2009 2:11 PM GMT
a league game between 2 mid table sides would never have a starting price at 22
Report Dayna Jane Stirling • November 10, 2009 2:13 PM GMT
Some matches could have Magic Flea. Norwegian, Swedish, German etc. all have massive 0-0 prices at times.

The price would be nearer 6.2 to lay.

good point

Is anybody able to persuade me that looking at this is a logical or sensible strategy?
Report Twice Over • November 10, 2009 2:16 PM GMT
Well to be fair i was looking at the leeds v grimsby match 22.0 at d mo i think
Report Dayna Jane Stirling • November 10, 2009 2:17 PM GMT
I missed the part where the strategy was shared.
Report buzzer • November 10, 2009 2:17 PM GMT
between 5.5 and 6 if the market is liquid and no sending offs
Report Twice Over • November 10, 2009 2:20 PM GMT
5.5 is very short. considering that at the beginning of most matches it's 11/10 for the 2nd half to have more goals.

An extreme was Shamrock rovers(?) v R Madrid, KO@55, HT 6.6.
Report buzzer • November 10, 2009 2:22 PM GMT
monitor the markets and you'll soon see
Report Twice Over • November 10, 2009 2:23 PM GMT
think i'll have to do just that. thanks for d help lads

I am well out of my depth on this one. But I cannot believe that a mechanical exercise is possible. I just do it on the seat of my pants.
Report keliwah • November 10, 2009 2:23 PM GMT
wtf? when was the last time you saw a 0-0 at ht that was 10/1 to stay 0-0 at ft?!
Report Mr Eboue • November 10, 2009 2:25 PM GMT
I was a bit generous wth 9 10/1.

More like 6/7 to one.
Report Dayna Jane Stirling • November 10, 2009 2:25 PM GMT
buzzer is correct.
Report flatliner • November 10, 2009 2:28 PM GMT
Tend to fall at similar rates within a league, different rates between leagues.
Report Okuma • November 10, 2009 2:29 PM GMT
if there's a ht score market dont you just divide 0-0 odds by ht 0-0 odds?
Report buzzer • November 10, 2009 2:29 PM GMT
the betfair markets are very efficient in the main, mathematically at least. If you're thinking of playing the ht correct score markets off against full time markets the commission will beat you
Report buzzer • November 10, 2009 2:30 PM GMT
that was to twice over
Report Twice Over • November 10, 2009 2:33 PM GMT
thanks, i got that! this is what i was tring to do and why i asking what price you thought it whould fall to, the bigger the better!
Report Alex the old wrinkled retainer • November 10, 2009 2:53 PM GMT
I have started to look at this game a little now. This is not one on which I would like to run unders or low CSs for very long. However there does seem to me a divergence of views so it is worth a look/trade before ko.

Tally Ho.
Report damfine • November 10, 2009 3:08 PM GMT
if its was 22 say 1.05 to lay r more at start it wld normally b 1.23 ish at ht.
last time it was like this for real was when they played here in dublin preseason 82 mins 1 nil victory
2 r more was available to lay at 1.08 prematch pretty much like tonight in the market but not on the
field as they at home neeeding a big win ,its not a holiday to ireland.
Report kenilworth • November 10, 2009 3:17 PM GMT
If the prematch 0-0 is 22/1 clearly one side is much superior to the other (Leeds v Grimsby ?) so IMO the price in the circumstances would be between 6.0 and 6.5, assuming no one having been sent off.
Report flatliner • November 10, 2009 6:58 PM GMT
RM 0-0 KO@90, HT9.6 lol
