..at a canter. Not so sure now, think they flatter to deceive tbh. I feared the worst when I saw the team news and didn't see how Brown and Evans could cope with Drogba and Anelka, also worried about Anderson/Carrick and Fletcher facing up to Lampard/Ballack and Essien. I was right about their being mismatches but wrong about which way round they were. Much more impressive than the abject performance at Unfilled the other week.
Obviously disappointing to lose but pleased with how the team played overall. Rooney once again played like a Lion.
No point going into the circumstances of the goal, thought it was a soft free kick but the ref got plenty wrong on the day for both sides. Think i'm right in saying that's the 1st set piece goal United have conceded all season, bad timing.
Think if United or Arsenal are within 6 points of Chelsea at New Year it's game on imo.
