last games of the season gettin played tonite there is always a team bet strongly at this stage and with alot of clubs in difficulty wages are not being payed i think derry city could be value tonite any thoughts????????
There is a FAI meeting tomorrow at which it is almost certain that Derry will be relegated due to financial problems. A glance at the league table might tell you that they are playing for 3rd place and a Euro spot tonight but that is not the case at all. The result tonight will almost certainly mean nothing to them.
I cannot understand the odds falling on Derry. I would see them as a value lay at anything up to 2.5 tonight.
LAY DERRY

Sligo v Drogheda 'Sligo Rovers will avoid the relegation play-off by beating Drogheda United at The Showgrounds tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.
Rovers boss Paul Cook must plan without Owen Morrison as he has had a recurrence of the calf injury that kept him out of the team for a number of weeks.
Keeper Richard Brush remains out as he recovers from a broken wrist.
United boss Alan Mathews must plan without James Chambers who is suspended for the trip to the northwest.
And Mathews is likely to rest several key players ahead of their important play-off clash, which takes place next week.
Drogheda have already finished ninth in the table so must play off with whoever finishes eighth with the losers going on to face the First Division play-off winners.
Bray v Bohemians Barring a catastrophe Bohemians will be crowned league champions after tonight's game with Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds, kick-off 7.45pm.
Central defender Derek Foran is missing for Wanderers as he is struggling with a groin injury, while winger Gary McCabe is a doubt and will have a late fitness test.
Otherwise, manager Eddie Gormley has a full squad to choose from with Chris Deans returning from suspension.
Gormley said: "It wasn't a nice feeling last week to be relegated, but now we have to look to the future and build on that.
"We have a lot of young players who now have the experience of a season in the top flight and that must stand to us going forward.
"It will be a tough game on Friday. We will be going out to win the game. We have got over the disappointment of last Friday and we will be positive and hope to finish on a high."
Bohs manager Pat Fenlon says they will try to treat the Bray game as normal, though that will not be easy in view of the events of the past week.
He said: "We'd like to finish off the season with a win, and to entertain the crowd. The pressure is off Bray to some extent, so it should be a good game.
"It's very difficult to win back-to-back titles. And we did it with a very big points total across the two seasons."
Ken Oman is the only squad member missing through injury. All of the players injured longer-term - Owen Heary, Jason McGuinness and Mark Rossiter - are available for this celebratory last match.
