hammer all the shiite, lose when they come up against quality.

same shiit, different season.
Report unitedbiscuits November 7, 2009 6:07 PM GMT
They couldn't beat Arsenal playing football tho...
Report melymoss November 7, 2009 6:09 PM GMT
im sure it was football when united beat them earlier in season?

United were allowed to pick the ball up and play rugby at the same time though, and they paid off all the officials, and the FA, and they got a stop clock which added 30 minutes on the end if they were behind. Isn't that what all United seethers usually spout out.
Report Vornander November 7, 2009 6:11 PM GMT
Common misconception, mely. They were actually playing kabaddi.

Last season they beat Man Utd and Chelsea, yet where did that get them?

Man Utd won the league last season by hammering the sh1te

Put it this way - when Barca humiliated Manchester United in Rome, they did it with a game of football that Ferguson could only dream about. And when Arsenal DO beat Manchester United, it will be with a brand of football that United just cannot live with nor clog their way out of.

Ferguson has as much as admitted they need to get "stuck in" to a superior Arsenal midfield by "bigging up" D Fletcher, a Nobby Stiles type player. Unfortunately, Manchester United are unlikely to have the services of an English ref.. when their fall comes.
Report Vornander November 7, 2009 6:21 PM GMT
What happened last time United met Arsenal 'without the services of an English ref' please?

If memory serves, one of them was made to look like a League One side.

Report unitedbiscuits November 7, 2009 6:25 PM GMT
Vornander - United won fair and square. But the limitations of the Manchester United team are far nearer than those of Arsenal or Barca, even with Ronaldo.
Report Vornander November 7, 2009 6:26 PM GMT
Nearer to what?
Report unitedbiscuits November 7, 2009 6:30 PM GMT
Nearer to Tottenham cos Man Utd will be below Arsenal.
Report Vornander November 7, 2009 6:37 PM GMT
Good luck with that. You're asking (praying?) for a 20-point swing from last season. Have to admire your faith. Especially given they're on the same points with United having had much harder fixtures.

what is this thread about?
Report unitedbiscuits November 7, 2009 6:40 PM GMT
Jealousy imo. Man utd fans afraid of a team destined to be great maybe.
Report Vornander November 7, 2009 6:41 PM GMT

Wouldn't be November without a 'destined to be great' Arsenal team.
Report Arsenal Oldie November 7, 2009 6:41 PM GMT
not sure why utd would care. they should be focused on the title decider tomorrow. arsenal are just hoping to cling on to 4th ;-)
Report Vornander November 7, 2009 6:43 PM GMT
You must be mistaking me for an actual Manchester United player. I don't need to focus that hard on the match the night before. ;)
Report unitedbiscuits November 7, 2009 6:55 PM GMT
Arsenal and Barca play football. Fantastic to watch.
Report ianhamilton. November 7, 2009 6:58 PM GMT
manure will be ahead of arsenal by the end of the season.
Report Arsenal Oldie November 7, 2009 6:59 PM GMT
lets hope so ianhamilton. we wouldn't want to see the rich list disturbed by little old arsenal.
