I might be being very stupid here and have overlooked something blatantly obvious but here goes...

If I lay all 4 hands in exchange poker before you see the hole cards at 4.02 for £2 which a lot of bettors are asking for I would take £8 and have liability of £6.04 leaving £1.96 floating around somewhere, yet the screen shows a loss of £0.04 per hand,

Where is the £1.96 going?

Strange. I've used this strategy for the last 2 years. I started small until I built up my balance. I've now increased my stake to £3 and still going strong. The only time you lose is when all 4 hands win. I paid £50 for this system, but IMO it was money well spent. Not all will agree, but I'm happy. I have a great big smile on my face all of the time. Must go now...I think my medication is due.

can you post what your strategy is, cant seem to figure out the maths in this one?

@ ryan88
the reason you always end up woth a loss is when you take 8 pounds you have to refund the winning bets original stake, which leave you with a 6 pound taking, after you payout the 6.04 you have a loss of 4 pence

I can't understand it. You lay all four hands at higher than the true odds and you lose?

The mistake in your calculation: at least 1 of the 4 hands will win. This is the one where you have to pay for the lost  bet. So you do not make 8 pds, only 6 (or even less if more than 1 winners), as sugarhoneybaby rightly said in post from 14 Dec.
