I've lost 8000 EURO. But that's money I've won with the XGames, with a starting bank of 200 EURO.

NZBOT,someones losses are Betfairs gains They rig the games. This isn`t "Exchange Games" cause it isn`t an exchange. It`s Betfair Games and them and them only win

Report FINE AS FROG HAIR January 11, 2010 6:50 PM GMT
Yeah right nothing changes.
With the emphasis on nothing.
Btw I sure hope that you little botty is reading all this.
He will not be surprised at all presumably by the boring continuation of the old litany of the games being fixed.

Guys. If you are GOOD at poker, you will make a fortune here at the exchange games. Cause you have everything at your disposal.

I started with just 5 euro and run my bankroll to almost 900 euros in one day. Yeah you hear me in ONE frickin' day. And guess what failed me in the end. The GREED. Cause I became reckless and stopped playing carefully and stopped evaluating the odds. I told myself "Dude that card won't come now, let's push all in and bank in." Guess what happened.

The only thing here that can fail is the HUMAN GREED.

I will be playing again after I pass my stupid exams and hope to make it my first grand here:)

Good luck everyone:)

And remember - curb the GREED.
Report Grunweld January 12, 2010 6:34 PM GMT
Pure luck mate, don't expect AA, AK or KK to win in these games.
Report Supernatural January 12, 2010 6:37 PM GMT
There is no luck involved if you play just in carefully selected games where the odds are enough to not lose.

I lost everything due to GREED.

I guess all the losing members here won't mention that but it's the truth.

Greed - worst enemy of the human kind:)
Report Grunweld January 12, 2010 6:41 PM GMT
I said that because you started your post with - "If you are good at POKER". Unfortunately, that will just not be of much help in the x-games version.
Report Supernatural January 12, 2010 6:45 PM GMT
Well the only thing that isn't present here at the exchange games is the bluff. Everything else is just a piece of cake. I have done it and it's 100% possible. I don't believe it foe a minute that the games may be fixed. I have seen much more impossible situations while playing online and offline poker. Everything is in your heads people, get your stuff straight:)

Superwindup imo.
Report Supernatural January 12, 2010 6:52 PM GMT
Think whatever you want. There are people to profit at the games:)

have a nice day:)

There are I agree.
But just not you from the sound of your posts.

Give me just one example of a selective game in which the odds are better than the probability of something happening ?
Just one tiny example if you please.
And if it is accurate, I will retract my opinion that you don't know what you are talking about in the slightest.
OK fair enough ?
Report Supernatural January 12, 2010 7:58 PM GMT
LOL Do you know what Poker Stove is?
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR January 12, 2010 8:30 PM GMT
Serious question ?

Ok somehow I got dragged into this troll fest.

As a poker player I am very grateful that Betfair are offering these xchange games cause I have found a gold mine. I didn't even have a clue something like that could exist till now. I am not a trader. I play poker. Judging from my brief look at this unfriendly forum some people don't know how poker works.

I don't like to be put under the category "Idiots" cause some sore forum**s like to bash newcomers.

Really farewell.

P.S. If you are actually playing poker you would understand my easy question.
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR January 12, 2010 8:56 PM GMT
In case you're interested you are playing against mkt. making bots which are poker players in the sense they have all the perfect odds of all scenarios at their fingertips at all times instantaneously.
If you can not only match that but can also find scenarios where these mkt. making bots have got the odds wrong, then I take my hat off to you.
But somehow I doubt it.
You're just another one of these Walter Mitty type dreamers that often wanders onto this forum, says something tey can't substantiate in any form or manner, and then wanders off all hurt and offendedbecause he wasn't believed unconditionally.
Grow up sonny boy.

Hot dang - my old buddy YLB used to do exactly that scrupulous editing of things that weren't so wrong to start with. FAFH - if you're not YLB then it doesn't matter as you've taken over his mantle to perfection. Tone is a little less strident in general, but no-one would object to that.

My thanks to Supernatural for the tip re Poker Stover - looks most interesting, if only to mull over real-life poker hands. It has often been mentioned that the analysis of exchange poker is very different because you can't bet anyone out of a hand - all hands with any possibility to win will see the river. Of course it may be possible that the poker stove analysis may be at odds with the market bots odds on offer, but on those occasions I'd probably go with the market-makers, as they get more financially punished for wrong odds than the PS developers.

I would like just one example from anyone of a case where the mkt. making bots have the odds manifestly wrong.
Lots of people come on here saying they have found " selective " opportunities but they never, ever substantiate their claims.
Like our mutual frend YLB I find this not only irritating , but also insulting to my intelligence.
YLB used to take it to the extreme and just put down all and anybody who came on here ( which approach proved to be self- defeating) with any ideas that the games could be beaten.
I differ from YLB in that I am perfectly willing to believe that someone, somewhere may have found a weakness in the mkt. making bot armoury, but I do want some form of verifiable proof.. God knows what such weakness might be , but I doubt I will find out about on here or anywhere in the public domain for that matter.

Who would be that daft??? Then again you might find it on chit chat ;-)

FINE AS FROG HAIR, how about posting the betting history here in the forum or in a private blog? Everyone who claims to be a winning player should post at least the betting results of a few days of his/her betting activities.
