I've been testing asystem on hilo for last 2 weeks with very promising results.

Are the games fixed?

Thought I'd test my theory with £40 in real mode.

My system only loses outright if 2 card run happens in first 3 cards, otherwise small profit.

Took less than 20 minutes with minimum stakes to lose. I was only one playing about 5 mins ago and it was blatent. I really don't care what anybody else believes, but I am once and for 100% certain. I dare you to test any system when nobody else playing hilo. Good Luck.

Jazza, some time ago I had the same thoughts regarding Omaha Poker. Played when no one was there (amount matched = 0€, 8€ after putting my 4€, Amount Matched = Stake x 2 for Back/Lay). Won all the 1.x odds. According to this theory I should have lost all those bets (if I'm the only one betting against market makers (Betfair or whoever) and I win, the MMs make a lost). That's why I still believe that the games are truly random.
Report JUGADOR MEJOR December 10, 2009 7:33 PM GMT
I have noticed that the games seem to be a lot crueler or tighter during unusual hours of the day, my biggest loss was between 4am and 6am on one monday morning (low liquidity), i also got hit bad on x-derby racing about 2am to 3am one mid-week night. When i play during the late afternoon to early evening i find that regardless of my high stakes and risky play the games are fairer.

I'd love to believe everything was above board but it's getting more and more difficult.

What , from losing so much on BF ?
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR December 10, 2009 7:54 PM GMT
Btw Jazza when you tested your system for 2 weeks, did you analyse what the max. downturn was ?
Did you hit that today within minutes of playing live ?
Just curious as to whether you are still approaching all this too short term.
Jus trying to understand what you're experiencing.
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 9:25 PM GMT
Over 2 weeks, not playing constantly, but almost, downturn was minimal and system generally went up n down as expected and once or twice up about £20.
When live....down down down and out within 20 minutes. 2 card run in first 2 cards and the wrong way time after time. Random my @rse.
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 9:27 PM GMT
1/12 or less chance of losing outright came in first 2 cards time after time. You can spout probability and chance, but is it relevant if all is not as it seems?
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 9:28 PM GMT
I meant 12 to 1 chance not 1/12 BTW.
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 9:30 PM GMT
Continued in test mode after losing and it's now working as expected. Amazing. Perhaps I just hit that bad run. Yeh right!
Report Grunweld December 10, 2009 9:36 PM GMT
I note your comments about no one else playing and then you lose. But the sidebets are an offshoot of the main game and I bet there was plenty of liquidity on that. So why would the software single out your min wager on a sidebet to lose, when it could make more money manipulating the main game to its advantage?
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 9:38 PM GMT
Why not both at the same time? Not too difficult.
Report Grunweld December 10, 2009 9:47 PM GMT
The two best real profit runs I ever had on xgames were on Omaha sidebets and Baccarat Natural Win sidebet. There was never anyone else playing Omaha sidebets and very few playing Baccarat sidebets.

I have frequently tried these strategies again in test mode, but have never been able to repeat those runs. Perhaps the system is learning successful strategies and stopping them in their tracks. lol
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 9:57 PM GMT
Impossible.
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 9:58 PM GMT
You would need a computer the size of a house to be able to handle the complex calculations required....surely?
Report Grunweld December 10, 2009 10:13 PM GMT
I was just giving some examples to kill your assertions, Jazza. Of course, I don't believe such manipulation actually occurs.

What you experience is just a manifestation of randomness, but you can't accept that it is random, because you are hoping to see a pattern continue when you switch on live mode. But there are no patterns.
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 11:11 PM GMT
No, I'm not looking for patterns. I'm playing flat stake constant system. I must have tried over 200 systems, all of which have been tested first. All promising in test mode. ALL failed. It's fixed.
Report Jazza December 10, 2009 11:15 PM GMT
You are wasting your time trying to persuade me. I'm not stupid and know when I'm being taken for a mug. These games are a p1ss take.
Report Jazza December 11, 2009 12:33 AM GMT
Bye bye betfair. You have lost a long term customer.
Report Jazza December 11, 2009 1:33 AM GMT
After what I saw tonight I will be closing my account and moving elsewhere.
I set up a system where you back card 11 and lay 2 card run.
Green up after 2 cards. Only way you lose the lot is
eg 5 followed by 4

The number of times this happened is way beyond belief. Talk about blatant. Chucking in 2 and 3 in a row.

So I changed tac-tic......I don't need tell you.

No way are these games random. Try my system when £0 matched.
It might open a few eyes.
Report juneomar December 11, 2009 8:46 AM GMT
i think jazza is right .

these games are fixed in one way or another.

few weeks ago i was testing a system on hi lo.

back card 1 every 5 games. it was perfect in test mode then i tried it in real play using min stakes.
3 wins in a row and then 12 loses in a row.

couldnt believe it.

these games are a program and they are adaptable by humans. any one from betfair can**them.
Report Grunweld December 11, 2009 9:48 AM GMT
How do you expect something like backing the same selection every 5 games to actually produce profit?

There is a negative expectation on every bet due to the combined effect of undervalue odds and commission, totalling about 4% - this is more than the house edge on a single zero roulette wheel - and you all know that you can't make long term profit playing that game.

Test your stratgies for at least 100,000 games and you will see a long-term loss on every one, with cycles of profit and loss in between.
Report Jazza December 11, 2009 9:52 AM GMT
I'm not questioning the maths. Try my system or something similar on hilo when £0 matched.
Report Grunweld December 11, 2009 10:02 AM GMT
I have, as I stated above on Omaha sidebets etc.
I made about about £2k on 2 different strategies where there was almost no one else playing. Eventually the graph went into decline and I have never been able to repeat the run even in test mode.

Jazza's made up his intelligent mind that he's being done over.
He isn't but that's beside the point.
I hope he has better luck elsewhere, but I doubt it.
I must admit that if I had tested out over 200 systems on paper and then always had no success at all whenever I went live , then I too might be feeling the same way.
Luckily that has not been my personal experience, irregardless of whether I was playing the games with or without the company of other players.
I have short term successes and failures, just like most others I think, Jazza excluded seemingly and unfortunately.
Best of luck mate in your wanderings elsewhere trying to achieve gambling success.

Hi Guys,

I want to waffle on about how much I have profited from the games but don't want to seem like a **!! All your posts are relevant and I have spent the last hour persuading you to discuss these matters elsewhere! I downloaded google spell-checker, to make sure my post was perfect and it erased my ramblings!!

Anyway, as full-time professional gambler, I have found a few techniques on the games that have proved profitable and would love to discuss them with you guys!

SPAM!!!!! Shock horror!!! I have just started writing for "laytheodds.com" as a regular author and setting up the forum have found after 2 weeks, no one wants to reply!!

I know this is unorthodox but if anyone wants to stick their ore in then it would be so good (not for me but for the community!) for the site!

Tell me all your strategies for everything "games" related!

Sorry guys to plug something else on here but I promise you there is no monetry gain in this, it's just a passion I want to share with other people (apart from the odd affillaite link!!)

Ed

Like many others I believe that the games are fixed. I have tested a system on bj with x feeder, 150000 hands. It would have made an average of 10000 a day and has not had one single losing day. NOT ONE SINGLE DAY!!!!
3 times I have tried it with real money, every single time I´ve been wiped out less than three hours into the game. SO far about 7500 pounds.
It is so **ing rigged it´s unbelievable. These scammers should be put on trial and shot.
** betfair. They even´t wrote to me and admiitted that the money on the games were put on by them.

I asked why the games are licensed in Malta, but they won´t reply. They are licensed there because of less regulation.
Don´t lose your money, stay away from these **ing scammers.
Report Grunweld December 14, 2009 11:53 AM GMT
My god, you must be deluded if you could ever believe that a betting system with a negative expectancy on every wager made, would ever enable you to make 10,000 per day.

I just don't believe that it showed this in test mode.

People that invent a derisory chatname to come on here and start a single thread, are not really worth further debate.

These games are clearly fixed. Betfair puts the money up and then draws the cards to make them the most money!

I played blackjack adn 3 times the dealer was showing a 6 and I had good cards. Each time the dealer managed to get to 20/21 to win the hand and take all the money! I have never seen this on any site or in any casino before!
