Okey theres those of you who who will take the pi$$ out of what i right an so be it.I`ll never see ye so feel free but what happened to me last week is once again an absaloute joke.I layed hand 2 to cost me just under 7 grand. The games were playin pefectly.By the river hand 2 needed a 5 to win an with two 5`s already out hand 2 was tradin at just over 18/1.I tried to have 550 on hand 2 and how conveniently the games froze. The bar went across the bottom an then it came up in red that i was to late for the bet an SURPRISE SURPRISE a 5 came in.I went fu ck in beserk, callin Betfair an basicalyy callin them all the robbin ba st ards under the sun. They told me to calm down an they would investigate it.They did this (supposedley) an sent me an e-mail with the biggest load of bo ll ocks in i`ve ever read in my life. They said that durin the turn of the cards, within which i stand to lose nearly 7 grand i "DECIDED TO READ THE RULES".What the fu ck Betfair ??????Why on earth would i choose to read the fu ck in rules halfway through a game i stand to lose nearly 7 grand on.I wouldn`t play the fuc kin game if i didn`t know the fuc kin rules you robbin B@$TARDS

Mate, if your going to be putting silly amounts of money on xgames, you need to use X-Feeder, it doesn't freeze (hardley).
Report Grunweld October 27, 2009 3:41 PM GMT
Having had this happen to you before plenty of times and then came on here bleating about it, why do you still through such huge liabilities at the game? You must have more cash then you know what to do with, or most of the time you win and only complain about the losses.

Blimey, that's a lot of money....

So why not use xfeeder for the sake of £10 a month. It doesn't freeze

XGAMESAREFIXED, from my own experience I can say that browser based interfaces tend to be kind of crappy (not only exchange games). You really need an API based solution like X-Feeder or similar (especially when dealing with such amounts of money). Data gets updated every second (if you like) and it hardly freezes. Good luck!

It's all good advice and all that but it should be a priority for Betfair to make sure their site is stable. Why should someone have to pay for an api application so he/she can play these games, Betfair should at least provide a free 'one-click' program to run along side these games for free.
Report mr smythe October 28, 2009 9:07 AM GMT
If this really is the case...that the Betfair interface isn't stable, then there should be a warning when you log-in to the games telling everyone that players may experience site freezes and should look into purchasing one of the api sollutions available. Whether you're playing with £5000 stakes or £2 stakes is irrelevant, it's still people's own cash and they are not getting a fair deal.

In my local casino a few years ago i used an automatic roulette wheel on a regular basis, it took £100 tokens available from the bank. One in every 20 of these tokens would fall through and be rejected, so it had to be exchanged for another. This seemed to happen every time i was involved with chasing a large loss.
On one occasion i was chasing the zero (silly betting) and i was almost £3,400 down so i decided to place a £100 win bet on it, the token shot straight through out of the reject slot a rolled across the floor. By the time i got it and exchanged it for another the ball was spinning.
It fell in the zero that i had been chasing for over 100 spins and to add insult to injury hit zero two more times, i'd lost my bottle and didn't bet.
This same thing also happened with note reading machines, note was rejected bet came in.
What i'm trying to say is if sh1t can happen it does.
I started loading the machines up with cash in advance of each session. If there is a solution to your problem use it, so i agree what these guys on here are saying your solution lies with their advice.

I've never seen £7,000 in available liquidity, in fact it seems to me that is rare to see much more than £3,000 matched
Report JUGADOR MEJOR October 28, 2009 5:36 PM GMT
I saw £9,000 on Monday, but that was on Blackjack. Very rare to see more than 4K-5K on poker.

I can complete empathise with the OP. I wish Betfair would at least give him the benefit of the doubt but they can't because they could never know whether the punter genuinely lost money or not.

I am afraid to say that the OP is somewhat of a serial poster on getting turned over by BF on these games.
His credibility is a bit suspect to say the least.
If it did happen as he said it did, then he is, of course, justified in being very angry.
Playing these games manually for large liabilities is an extremely dangerous activity.
The OP knows this, but he does seem to be a glutton for punishment.
I hope he has learnt his lesson, albeit the hard way, by now.

I quite often click on rules to see the liquidity in the market. The place where Betfair strategically put data on matched bets. WHY?
Report Scrappy Doo November 26, 2009 10:44 PM GMT
at most , ive played these games 10 times since they stated, and during that time the freezing why placing a bet that wins happend a few times. so not only are u playing against bots iwth the odds you are playing with software that at best doesnt function correctly.

this kinda stuff makes me laugh.why anyone would play casino or poker on the internet is beyondme. The opportunity for fraud is endless. It wont happen every play, just when it counts.Just stop playing internet for anything that can be manipulated. If its not in the general public area give it a wide miss.
Report FINE AS FROG HAIR December 5, 2009 7:10 AM GMT
This is Xgames Mr Ben.
A different concept to what you are referring to.
Unless you think BF is indulging in fraud.
Be careful what you say.
