Al Riffa ran a blinder under a penalty which gives credence to the figure for Proud And Regal . The problem with the latter being that he looks like an Autumn horse . He is still worth a bet here as 40/1 is freely available . Losses , if incurred , can be recouped later in the year .
I have opposed the favourite . 1/3 is far too short . Watch him in the final furlong at Epsom . Does he really murder King Of Steel or did that horse run out of gas ? I have my doubts . Good luck .

On Friday it might pay to invest in Marbaan .
I think it is safe to say that , although he won at Goodwood over 7f , in a truly run race in Group 1 company he is only a 6f horse .
It also looks as if he needs a pipe opener every season .
Remove those offenders from his cv and you see the real Marbaan .
He has , on my figures , 5lb to find on Little Big Bear if you believe The Phoenix . It is possible that Marbaan is not fully exposed and 33/1 seems fair for e/w betting .
