I thought Calandagan was outstayed at Epsom but at Saint Cloud he looked as if he would get 14f . He is a mystery to me .
The Jan Breughel form does not stand scrutiny . At Epsom the form is held back by Continuous who was less than 6 lengths behind after his pacemaking efforts . At Doncaster Jan Breughel beat Illinois , Deira Mile , Sunway and Wild Waves . Not King George form . He looks like a lay to me but perhaps of more interest is Green Impact if he goes to York . Mrs Harrington's charge was guaranteed 20k for turning up here and must have been in line for 35k if finishing fifth .

It is worth laying the favourite here . The Craven form looks dubious , at Newmarket he did not look like a superstar and the Curragh form needs inspection .
The subsequent runs of Cosmic Year and Hotazhell knock the race back . Commanche Brave and Windlord help the race but the latter had pacemaker duties in the Guineas and Commanche Brave is inconsistent .
The Saint James Palace was , effectively , a match with Henri Matisse and that horse has two ways of running so at odds on Field Of Gold looks like a lay .

EDIT : The run of Cosmic Year today puts the Irish 2000 form under more pressure . Clearly the Kingman colt does not want to race .

The figure for Gaga Mate is from his first run . Ran poorly at Ascot and did not get the best of runs last time but it could be that he needs a little cut in the ground .
Ambishio I can get two figures for , both seemingly valid , that differ by 7lb . I have opted for the higher figure as there is a tenuous link between him and Charles Darwin .
And it should be obvious to you that although Havana Hurricane has to be favourite he is way too short a price . You need 5/2 about him .

The Eclipse was great fun . I have dropped both Ombudsman and Camille Pissarro 1lb and raised Delacroix by 2lb . From memory Hotazhell went up 3lb . Camille Pissarro looked to be favouring his near fore close home which is why I have only deducted 1lb .
Ruling Court was at the start for too long . It might be a good idea to take him down after the others as he frets .
At Hamburg Augustus continued his progression . Do not underestimate him . Possibly unlucky behind Palladium in last years Derby and the winner ran a fine race behind Rebels Romance to illustrate that German horses are not that far behind ours .

The favourite is clearly the one to beat but Hotazhell was beaten by two very talented horses at The Curragh and if you extrapolate you could quite easily make out a very good case for him . As it is he should improve on his seasonal debut and the big prices on offer about him are ridiculous .
Both Field Of Gold and Cosmic Year were hard race fit in Ireland but Hotazhell was coming back at them close home and could step up for the extra two furlongs .
