A strange day on New Year’s Day as there was a distinct lack of goals all around the country. In fact, looking at the results, there were clean sheets in 25 of the 43 fixtures played that day. Oddmans.

This week we have a double, a treble and a 5 fold.

Staying in Spain, Deportivo de La Coruña host Malaga at the Riazor and the pick for this match is under 2.5 goals. In the eight games ‘not so super anymore’ Depor have played at home, six have seen fewer than 2.5 goals. Malaga are also six from eight in their away matches this season, ergo unders is the call.

The Posh play Norwich in the FA Cup and one thing we can expect with both of these teams is goals galore. The last five matches have seen Norwich score & concede whilst the last six matches at the London Road Stadium have seen both teams bag.

Looking at Rochdale’s home record, six out of 13 games ending up with both teams bagging isn’t that appealing. Look a bit closer however and you will see that the last five home matches have ended up this way. You have to go back to October to see the last time that didn’t happen at Stadio San Paolo.
