Agree with CLYDeBANK, best I have seen. Not watched much darts after Bristow but it is so obvious, this kid is different league. Sometimes you need someone from outside to tell you: Littler should be 1.3 to win it,  currently 1.9.

I'm really not much of a darts fan but young Luke is an absolutely incredible story and I'm very much looking forward to tonight.

I'd have Litter the fav. Been more impressive for me and the crowd will be on his side. Cross played quite well against Littler early on and he raised his level a couple of times. Humphries impressive against opponents who didn't pressure him at all. Shaky as against Cullen who did. I suppose both could get nervy near the finish line tho. Hopefully a classic unlike yesterday's matches.

Good points Lurka - both have potential to get nervous if they spot the title in front of them, and the crowd could play a part as likely behind the 16 year old!

You've talked me into a tickle on Littler, given he's the bigger odds. 50/50 match IMO.

A fabulous standard of darts throughout - real kill or be killed stuff.
That missed double 2 to go 5-2 up will haunt Littler for a while.
Such fine margins.

Humphries threw better darts and he seems like a nice fella. Deserved the win.

Humphries was rocking at one point but when Littler missed for 5-2, it seemed the turning point for both. From then out, Littler was outscored in what seemed like every leg, reduced to scrambling towards an unlikely 170 before Humphries checked out. If the game had gone on, I reckon Humphries would have won the next seven sets.

Littler seems a nice lad too and undoubtedly brilliant but he’s not going to dominate darts tournaments throwing c 57 on his first three darts.

Overall, his throwing levels so far, at a shade under 102, trail the top 10 averages in championship history

and he's 16...
