Early thoughts: was looking to get with Dobey to win his quarter but looks difficult with the likely route being Suljovic, Gurney/Durrant, Price... the one that stands out is Ratajski to win quarter 2, will await prices... first round Barney v Young... Young @ 7/2 look decent...

I backed Aspinall a while ago @40's. MVG is unbackable at that price. Since backed Glen Durrant and Ian White e/w, also done Ryan Joyce at a silly price as a possible back to lay if he goes deep.

Not long to go now... pretty decent start to proceedings too... Sportsbook go a rather generous 12/1 on the Pole to win the 2nd quarter, had some of that...
In the outright market had a speculative punt on Jackpot to roll back the years at 100/1... backed a few of the young guns after last years' tourney... Searle, Evetts, Humphries and Dobey on the basis that at least one of them would be tearing up the rankings, only Dobey could be placed in that bracket (arguably)... the Missus has backed Chizzy... roll on Friday week... ![]() |

Gurney at 50 appeals to me and have had a nibble. Not been playing well recently but on his day can beat everbody and has done so. Gabriel Clemens at 120 have also had a bite at.

wow, just noticed in the draw theres a potential grudge match with MVG v Jella |

Hope Sky learned their lesson last year - no split arses please !

Not long now! Standout bet so far is Gerwyn to win the 4th quarter at 5-4. Current form take a lot of beating. Biggest danger imo is Duzza, who has made 2 major semis already so will save stake on him.
Think mvg should win first quarter but no value there. Michael Smith has the easier half of the 2nd quarter and will do at 3-1 for that. Other half of it, as mentioned, Ratajaski at 12-1 also worth a couple of bob. Third quarter, favour Rob Cross who been there and done it at 10-3. Hope Barney has some sort of swansong and throw some on him also at 25-1. |

Hoping it's Snakebite's year - he's running out of realistic chances

Got to think Klassen is vulnerable tonight, he was awful in the last comp. Don't know much about Burness but done a treble with Huybrechts and Peterson.

When was the last time MvG started a world champs at odds against?
Considering what he's won this year, that's still a tasty price. |

By:
whats the klaasen van gerwen problem?

Kim huybrechts seems the best bet here, shame they had the women giving the tips out

Kevin likes the sets format. Jelle would have beaten him easily a few years ago. Jelle's form so flaky now-a-days. no idea if he'll turn up. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he will. Jelle wins
